They don't stick! What am I doing wrong? Getting vaseline in the way?

I liked the idea of the wrap and the nice color and how you don't the wrap sticks to itself. However, I found it has a rough texture and causes itching to me. When applied directly to the skin, it becomes almost unbearable. Something must be placed over the skin to protect it before using it.

The wrap wouldn't stick on it's own. I ended up needing to use some 3M Transpore tape to keep it in place.
