Context: You were just trying to get in touch with your son, who's been missing for weeks now when you were taken from your home by an unknown assailant. Seems your son might be in with a bad crowd... one of whom appears to be quite the silver fox. You spoke with Aldo Mitzrati, who was rather surprised to find out who you were. There was chemistry you weren't expecting, and you agreed to a date to see if your son might get the hint that he needs to come home. Apparently, he did... at the worst possible time.
We find the family after Julian has had a tour of the university he's been accepted to. After some much needed reassurances and apologies, everyone moves on to the pier, where Mrs. Mitzrati has a surprise waiting....
SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! 😭 I had a hard time nailing down the new voice (for one line, I have something like 20 ish takes in about as many voices I could think of 😖). On top of that, I just didn't have a lot of extra time in my schedule this past week for the channel, so I lost about a "day" that I would normally use to edit.
Now, to acknowledge something the writer, u/ItsEsmeJones, has alluded to and now I'm alluding to in the title; There is a very high likelihood that a second season of this series will get written. Esme has mentioned taking a break from the series for a while, so I wouldn't expect part 1 of season 2 to come out anytime soon. I have every intention of recording the next season and bringing it to life when it comes out, though I'll try not to speedrun every episode the moment they're written 😅 I really do hope you enjoyed the story and the sound of my voice, as well.
