www.cumminsforum.com/threads/... 3rd gens and 4th gens are very similar so a lot of what’s done to the 4th Gen in the video is the same with a 3rd gen. You can use the floor shifter from a 3rd gen into a 4th Gen.
👍👍 slightly off topic,but would a NP205 be an unwise swap in a 2nd or 3rd gen?.. ive heard the 205 can't actually take a large amount of torque, because the case will split.. I' actually have a Ford/ divorced/ driver's side drop 205 with an adapter to work on an automatic.. don't ask how i acquired it,lol... perhaps using it would be idiotic?.. probably better off sticking with chain drive,👍👍👊
People really selling these harnesses for 1-1.5k? 😮 I have a complete 2nd gen wire harness, pickup it’s theirs $50. I support the hobby not doing it for money. They want the truck we can talk details.
