You're such an MVP for including your little mistakes that all of us probably have, or will make. Your high production quality and thorough explanations on stuff really makes this priceless to alot of people. Deff top tier content for me and I can't wait to see what you end up doing with your Lude!
I know it can be frustrating and even discouraging working on a car that has limit after market support and OEM parts are becoming harder to find as the years go by!.. that's why I don't work on my '91 lude much anymore!!.. but keep up the good work Connor!👍
I would fix that one too, just like you are doing. Don't really have to go overboard and take every single thing off of it though. You'll know exactly what you have when you are done. Like that wiring on the side, if there is no damage there around it to repair, it doesn't really need to come off. It's a BIG project though. :)
Yes! I’m glad you’re back at it again. I picked up a black 88 si that is running. I ended up selling both my 89’s to pay off some bill, but I’m back in the game. I’m excited to see more prelude content.
@@ConnorLee unfortunately, I didn’t. I sold it all. I how ever still have contact with the guy I sold them too and will be getting some parts. I too have a bit of rust to address, but I’ll do that after we make our big move.
This is a win win!! If you don’t decide to save this 3rd gen at least you’ll have a lot of very valuable parts absolutely worth saving or that could help fund the purchase of another Prelude in the future, hopefully an SI model which would make a future engine swap much easier. Also like you stated you’ll be learning more and more as you go along…My biggest advice is to stay organized with your tear down which looks like you are doing and maybe take photos along the way. Always stoked to see another Prelude video and look forward to the next!
Current in the process of putting a b16 into mine since my b20a6 threw a rod, it's definitely a long strenuous process. But id stick with this one if you could since you've been through soo much with this one.
Me and my girlfriend just bought a 89 2.0si and watching all your vids i think we can fix it i got the car in CT so the rust in the corners is the only big issue
My car has been sitting ever since purchased after I found out about the interior rust. Slowly knocking 1 section at a time. Sucks because of work and the kids, my process is moving slow
