Hey guys what springs did u use for the front and rear ?? I know they are ome. But which ones I want my 4runner to sit just like this so I'm very curious ?????????
Yeah I see this comment on every other video.... nice congratulations on your 4Runner.... you like wanna settle this in cash, it looks like you are advertising your rig How much you want for it, I pay cash my friend currency paper , no wired transfer, check, COD, CD
Looks great! You should take off the running boards one day and see if you like it. It may just be my personal opinion, but I find these trucks look slightly taller when they’re taken off. Love the tire rim setup too. Very clean.
good afternoon friend, i'm from brazil and i really liked your work, really good .... there was only one doubt in the video, you changed the original springs, or used the old ones in the car. i have a 1997 hilux surf can i do this too? sorry my english i'm using google translator
Great job guys 😁👍🏼 One question You didn’t have tu use spacers with this set of wheels with 0 offset right? I want to know because I want to install the same set on my 4Runner 98 with 3” kit lifted 👍🏼
is it just biletin 5100 and OME in back? no spacers? can you be more specific which type of bilstein 5100 and OME springs to get for this kind of raise in the back?
Does anyone know if the rear shocks from a 5th gen 4runner fit 3rd gen 4runner ? I have rough country shocks and ome 890 in the rear and I feel like they are too stiff would changing this to 5th gen shocks help?
I lived on Kauai for 6 years working at the hospital. I can’t stand this racism and you get what you give. Act like a stupid Halle, get treated like one. Learn to respect. We are all brothers and sisters and yes, those island locals can wheel the fuck out of their rigs!!! Miss all my Island family.
I just put a new 3" kit on my 2001 4Runner. Installed a front diff drop kit along with blasting shocks and toy tech springs. Had the front alinement done also. Now I have a bad vibe ration in the front at 50 mph and above. What could it.
Possibly the diff drop, undo the diff drop and see if vibe goes away. Diff drop sounds like a good idea until you realize it changes the angle to the driveshaft which in general is a no-no. Try it, can't hurt. Also heard in rare cases it's linked to front diff failures
I just got a 3 inch lift on my 3rd gen, I also had gotten an alignment and wheel balance but I have a vibration in the steering at 60-70mph. Does anyone have any knowledge of what it can be?
@@vb1gbg I just got some off brand a/t 265/70/16. I just recently drove my boys with 285/75/17 and there’s still a slight vibration but isn’t as bad. I’ve already check tire rods, bushings, axles. I know I have to replace my axles but other then that I’m no too sure.
@@johnnycromwel5263 Do you have wheel spacers, and if so, are they hub-centric? Or do you have lug nuts that are shaped specifically for your rims? Or do you have a lift which maybe led to a bad cv axle? If it isn't the tires/balancing (which is most likely the case) or any of the above, then I don't have any idea.
@@vb1gbg yes I do have spacers and I’ve had them before the lift, I looked under and seen that both of my axle are leaking grease so most likely (for sure) theres a rip in the cv boot. I just purchased new axles and going to see if that the problem.
Which Toyota 4Runner 4x4 should I buy? Hi I am new to the off road world, I want to buy a used Toyota 4Runner 4x4 and I only have $ 5000, which one you recommend?
2nd gen runner. most lift avail. I have a 2nd gen on a 3" body 5 suspension lift. diff drop. 35s. 4.88 gears. rig was 1k lift and tires and alignment was 2500. I went with rough country. life it. it's ifs front coil rear. I daily drive every other day trail here in alaska for 3 years straight with tires at 10 psi hassle free.
i also lifted a 99 3rd gen using toytec 3" body 3" suspension lift on 35s. it was coil over front bit stiffer ride than my 2nd gen torsion bar front. and less lift as well. imma stuff 38s under my 2nd gen. no way that gonna happen on the 3rd gen

The rear is loaded with 4 factory wheels and tires and stock suspension components which are NOT constant loads. The springs are not a heavy load so they do sag with that much weight in there but designed to be level and a more comfortable ride without having such a load.
I have a 3rd gen and they are so under hp for a model world that I would NEVER invest that type of money in a 20 year old vehicle. What so u can spend tons of money to get under 20 mpg, get passed by everyone on major hill climbs or ride like a old ass vehicle
Hahah I can assure you that this vehicle with a lift and some nice tires is just as capable as another suv out there when it comes to anything expect hauling stuff. Sure it may not be fast but not everyone’s in a race to get somewhere. Cruising and off-roading babbbbbyy. You could buy one of these cheap, throw lift/tires/ re gear / custom paint/ break mod/ and it would still be cheaper than a brand new stock suv or truck. Significantly cheaper..... also there’s a reason you see these 20 year old vehicles on the road often and that’s because they are BUILT TO LAST.
