I wish the 3rd gens had vtec. Then they would be perfect. The only other thing i prefer in the 4th gen preludes is the huge dash that goes across the front. It looks so cool.
the h23 preludes are pretty beast for how low the power is on them they have a lot of low end torque.I dusted my buddies jdm zc ej1 by like 4 cars dead stop beat a gsr keep up very well to si and rsx type s's and the prelude is stock.
they all look great but to me the 4th gen looks the best plus its the fastest one has the best trans from a prelude the m2f4 runs 14s stock those supras have way more power if the prelude had even 800fwhp the supras will be toast.
Well my car is from MA and this is at nedw so must have been another prelude, mine is not in this video these are fellow prelude owners I taped this for.
I do like torque. That's what I like about having a 2.0 non-VTEC motor with a long stroke - my horsepower and torque numbers are pretty close. Then again, there are some differences between mine and that noisemaker above. LOL
the h23s hp and torque are pretty much equal 160hp and 156tq stock it will output more torque the whp something like 139whp and 142wtq.I like the long stroke of my 2,0 f20b vtec too has spme tq and 9k rpm redline with the cams I have ;0
Oh, man. I'm almost too disappointed to comment. I was hoping the 3rd gen was going to give more of a fight. But, alas, that angry weed whacker did no such thing...
Believe yes there are 1,000plus hp to the wheels h22 motors I agree the prelude wasn't made for that no Honda was yet ppl build them and run 7-8 sec on the 1/4 mile type in prelude vs supra they both run 9s prelude was faster. My little junky civic with a accord Motor took out my buddies R33 gts-t on 7 pounds with bolt ons beats wrx and evos as well.
yeah seemed pretty slow for a 4th gen prelude , but the stock f22 lude is slow as fuck without forced induction, also didnt get the greatest run it seemed
