You would have thought that Grian was in red, but no he’s in green! 😆. I mean Scar’s evil plan is pretty evil. No one gets cookies!

I went back and watched that three second clip almost 4 times lol

I actually completely missed it the first time, but then I saw you comment and watched it back at like .25x speed to see all the drawings, and DEAR LORD. So good. And Grian’s insane laugh, the drawing with it? Chills.

@kitty 💜 It's lore from a previous smp Grian ran, called Evolution. the premise was that the players would move through the minecraft updates in the same world, starting from like. Early Beta? I forget which release they began with. As the series went on, they discovered that omniscient beings called Watchers were kind of. controlling their world, punishing and rewarding players for their behaviour and sending them on quests to reach new updates and so on. Out of character, the Watchers were a kind of stand in for the audience, but in the lore they're more like... insidiously "benevolent" gods. When the Evolutionists got far enough into the updates that they decided to take on the Ender Dragon, the Watchers interfered and had all of them fight the dragon separately. Grian, after defeating his dragon, was taken by the Watchers to become one of them. Out of character, it's just that he decided to leave the series and become a part of the audience, but in character... well. That's what the fantheorists like to play with. Notably, a few of the 3rd Life and Last Life players were also Evolutionists. Grian, of course, but also Martyn (InTheLittleWood), Jimmy (SolidarityGaming), BigBst4tz2, and PearlescentMoon. Martyn pulled on that old Evo lore with his Last Life series, referencing that Grian is a Watcher, which has prompted a whole lot of renewed interest in Watcher!Grian lore, suggesting that he's been a Watcher all through Hermitcraft and 3rd Life and honestly I adore it.

@kitty 💜 It’s actually part of a different server called Evolution or EVO for short. (I personally haven’t watched any of it.) The watchers are the, well w a t c h e r s. The watch everyone and everything. They took Grian to become a watcher and he later got out of it but yeaaah. For some reason it’s tied to a lot of different servers as well, idk why. Just is. That’s all I really know on the matter anyway
