Checking out some Camping Spots in the Lower part of West Virginia. This is just over the border and is a very nice Forest service campground. They are in the process of rebuilding he bathrooms, so be aware if you go there in 2024-25-26

No problem! I am learning there’s a lot to learn about doing videos on the road. Now I know why most people have a full size motor home or fifth wheel.

You should! The area itself is really nice with a lot of interesting things. The Greenbrier resort is an all day adventure itself if it’s raining. And then there’s the Greenbrier Trail and the Caz railroad and all these other things that are a lot of fun. Also, there is about four different campgrounds in the area various prices From $7-$30

Beautiful place. Went there as a kid and spent 2 weeks there during the month of July. When I was kid there was no heated showers, just cold well water.

I think we went there 10 or 11 years in a row with a large group of family. We usually took up 3 or 4 camp sites.

Wish is was out there with you camping, but instead I’m spending my summer trying to recover from pneumonia and a lung abscess, maybe late fall because It looks like I will laid up for most of September, wonderful video, please keep them coming I can’t watch the crap on TV

Oh, he reads all the emails and comments. While chewing on biscuits. Not only is it a great Campground with lots of activities inside the Campground, but within an hours drive outside the Campground there’s a ton of stuff.

Love the steam engine at the end! Nice campground, definitive could find a good site there. Is Lake Sherwood a natural or man made lake?

Not sure, it looks natural, but it has a flat spot on the end, so it might be "Enhanced" with a dike.

It is a man made lake. There is an earthen dam at one end. At one time there may have been a very small lake there, not sure.

Thanks for giving the campsite numbers for the nicely spaced sites. The little town is cute! The drone footage is spectacular. Tell Akela that Pennsylvania (Penn’s Woods) has good sticks.

It’s not very hot in the mountains. I think the hottest it was was 84 Fahrenheit. And it goes down in the low 60s after the sun goes down. So we stay very comfortable.

Yes looks good. In the original there was this red thing on the ground that moved while you were talking. Looked like an alien. 😀 probably a leaf. Looking forward to verifying.

Thanks for the info i’ve told the aliens they have to stay out of my videos. Akela is in charge of keeping them out. I guess sometimes they sneak in.
