One of the reasons I felt lead to start this channel was to grow a community of people that want encouragement and to learn from one another as we do life together and raise our children. I totally agree with this video & all u said. I am gardening becuz God said i have to do gardening again. 10 yrs ago i did in ground gardening with my kids helping now its just me doing container & raised bed gardening. i have been doing long term storage with food. I am dehydrating & i also do a lot of lacto-fermenting. I have had many failures since i started back doing gardening in 2020 & with preserving food. I am learning from my mistakes though i did get very discouraged in 2020 & 2021 with my results. But God won't let me give up & so i have been re-working my garden plans especially starting last yr 2023 & i have felt a lot happier about it all. What growing zonr are u in? I am in 9a zone.
I am so glad that you commented because that video was not planned. I was not even thinking of doing an encouragement video, but the Lord led me to make that video and I was obedient to what He said. Three years ago I felt the Lord leading me to not only garden, but to start preserving and learning as many homesteading skills that have been lost over the years. As well as supporting local farmers for meat. And I never thought I would even start a channel on RU-vid, but just this winter I felt led to get on to encourage people to start doing something whether that’s a little container garden or learning to preserve, etc. so your comment has blessed me so much because I know the Lord is working in so many peoples hearts, and it’s encouraging to hear you keeping the course and not giving up because God has you and He is leading you!!
