HAHAHAHA That was a good race, that was the year we won. Great bunch of guys that owned and joe who drove. We will be back up there once we get our car back out!
Thats one BAD ASS Block right there .One of a kind so is the 4ag .thank you for the video now i could slap my brother with the video yeessssss (he'll definitely believing now lol)
Yea definitely hurts my soul to see another one get put down. Thats why next engine will have a small bore so hopefully we can keep it alive for many years to come.
Merry Christmas bro, great to see ur updates. Why do u run coolant n not cemented like the 3sgte builds? Also hopefully ur able to do a run down on the crank n cam combo.
Does anyone still make the 3TC Billet Heads for that engine? I’ve never seen it offered. You can tell it’s a race head setup but I would like to know were to get one if it’s still available?🤔🤔
@@psiracing that would be awesome! I’m building a race only 79 Corolla Sport Coupe which is in progress. But will be awhile because of time constraints with my present career and me being the only builder. It has a 2TC with a manual trans. But with my upgraded engine and dual Weber 45 DCOEs it’s tough to keep it street legal because of the present stringent emission laws here. Future plans will be a 3TC bored and stroked too 1988cc transmission will be a PPG or a liberty with a bespoke drag type bell-housing. ProCharged and fuel injection, fuel will be a race spec E-85 or my own blend. Do make them if possible? A billet head has many advantages with port flow design and positioning, besides being stronger then OEM cast heads.
Hello very interesting. I was wondering is it possible (even with some machining)to put a 3S GE crankshaft into the 3TC block or is spacing etc different thanks.
Stock blocks and cranks are actually pretty strong, considering how much power a 3tc originated with. I've seen stock cranks make upwards of 800 hp. The motor going in the car next just to dyno will have a stock crank. We will put up a video of it on the dyno and see what kind of power we get out of it.
