1984 walking home after seeing Breakdance (Breakin) with my two best mates in a small town in Wales. This track was ringing in our ears all the way home. Yes we where 1000s of miles away but we where there in it. 50 years old now and this track still gives me chills. BBOY for life.

I haven’t heard this in over thirty five years - back then life was full of infinite potential I was a DAMN GOOD break dancer and followed the beat to the streets experiencing true freedom and brotherhood with all sets genres sexes and races . This track was played during the closing credits of Breakin ‘ Summer of 84 grab my linoleum and cardboard and Merry Go Round clothing store parachute pants and duck toe B-BOY Adidas laced up phat .
My favourite song on the album. Me and my friends saw it in our School after regular classes. It was Lions Club who arranged movie nights and actually showed really good stuff! This is/was in Sweden in the 80’s and we where breakdancers
This really brings tears to my eyes knowing these were the days and the best of times!! I still bump to this and mostly 80s in my ride and love seeing the smiles on others when they hear it.

FYI y'all: The main Lead Vocal on this track was performed by me GORDON GRODY. Love Dan (RIP) and he is on the spongin a few places. "I Can Deam About You" was about to come out and his label did not want him to sing the lead on this one so he asked me to do it and of course I said yeah. Dan was quite a talent. Gone way too soon.
This is very interesting, this album met us as far as in Nigeria, Africa. It feels great to have break dance to this great song. It heralded the memories of the early 80s.
heard this in a club for the first time ever two weeks ago..... jaw dropped to the ground when I heard it! 2010 being the first time i hear this in a club....long overdue but more of the same please :)
I could not think of a more appropriate song to go with the golden age of Greek tourism in the 80s and 90s. It was a vision of paradise and love and sex was fun to have freely as you knew it was a special place and time to be alive.

Ah, takes me back to my breakdancing days... back when this came out (1984) I belonged to a breaking crew with a futuristic name... it was called The 1990 Cru, LOL!
This track hands down is amazing. Appregios,synthetic sounds plus the beat from that roland 808. It has an Arthur baker 80s sound. Dan Hartman has skills that are incredible including his lyrics. Straight talent. The Lyrics have a meaning all about dancing in a worldwide language everyone around this planet and everyone can sing it and understand it as well. It's a general up tempo slamming track you must play at full volume. Sonically this is the best mixed synthesized song ever,listen closely to it. Vocals on key and perfectly mixed. A quality overlooked track with an experienced engineer plus production. The lyrics are the best part and "hit" part of this phenomenal song. Too bad they put this song at the end credits of a great movie as well. To all my producer friends what do you think and what are your thoughts. This is just my opinion......
