3x01 Emma & Hook #2 

Hook always says he's not sentimental.... After recent episodes it turns out he's probably the most sentimental among them.

When Rumple says, "When have you ever taken a leap of faith." I'm like, look who's talking Rumple

After re-watching some scenes with Hook, I can't help but notice how he tends to pull the cork of his flask out with his teeth and spit it on the ground when he wants a drink. How much time does he end up spending looking for the damn thing afterwards? Does he wash it? I hope so...

Does anyone every wonder how hook always gets the cap on his flask back on after he spits it out?

I love how Hook says "What are you doing?"

I always thought it was... very sad, that when Hook went out of his way and said 'To Neal', Emma couldn't have found it in herself and respond with 'To Baelfire'. After all, he was always Baelfire to him...

I just love when Hook told her he missed Neal too. Such a great scene

its so cute that they have these talks even before they get together because they learn that they have things in comon and they get to know about each other

Glad that Hook got over still seeing Neal as Little Bae, cause Neal will always fight for Emma, and Hook should do the same if he truly has feelings for her.

I love that hook was able to comfort and calm emma down, shows how they understand one another and have a strong connection

Hook still sees Neal as little Bae, even after all these years. I do hope that he gets on with Emma though. They are perfect for each other.

Rumple is a jackass. I get he's trying to save Henry but he's too arrogant to see they all need to work together to save Henry. Seriously things might have been different if they worked together from the beginning. Great Emma and Hook scene. Hook's trying to hide the fact that he's sentimental.... ah One thing about Hook is that he does care and when he cares about someone he's all in. He doesn't hold back any part of himself. That's why he kept Bae's cutlass because he loves him. Even after all these years he still cares that's why thinking Neal was dead affected him so much.

Dear writers, please make this happen, I prefer them over Neal & Emma anytime...

Me too. I'm gonna be really disappointed if they don't make it happen. On the other hand, I don't suppose Henry would be too happy about that, but um... Captain Swan, yep.

Anyone else think it would have been better if the sword wasn't Neal's and Hook just lied saying it was so Emma could both have a memento and protection? It seems the kind of thing we see from him later in that its doing wrong (lying) for a well intended reason. We could have had the preparing for a fight bit, Hook goes for the sword pauses, considers, and then decides to lie and presents it as Neal's. It would have been a bonding moment in the present and a set up for some fun later when Emma expects Neal to recognize his sword but doesn't. Exposing the lie could have stirred up debate about whether Hook did it for the right reasons or just to curry favor and come across as a good caring guy. I don't think it would need to be a big deal but it would have been a fun extra layer.
