The tape used to bulk up the slugs did two things. First it allowed better engagement with the rifling but it also squeezed the bundle of wires together much tighter and helped to keep them from being shoved out of the insulation.

I know all of you are thinking it... That ballistics gel is the nastiest block in existence on RU-vid. I've seen cleaner gas station bathrooms. Just joined your Patreon, by the way. I get more entertainment here than I do from any television program I ever watched, so you deserve the support. Hoping one day you have enough paying supporters to replace the sewage blocks. LOL

After your banjo playing parachutist lands, you could have him shoot a target made of leather jacket skin, pork steak pectorals, pork ribs, a bag of oranges to simulate lung tissue, more ribs on the back, 4 layers of t-shirt on the front, 4 layers of t-shirt on the back, and the whole thing followed by the new and improved high tech fleece bullet stop.

Now that would make a great home defence round! You'd have no worries about over penetration even if the round came apart in mid-flight. In fact, having it come apart may be a more desired outcome. Keep up the good work and may God continue to keep all of you safe!

Wow that head shot! Went right in with a large wound track, and after a couple inches of penetration then it sorta “expanded” out and turned into many smaller tracks of damage. When you make it to only break apart after impact then you have something more brutal than a hollow point
