I actually really do like how Fontaine is seemingly, and while I do agree, and disagree on some things here, felt Teccy was very reasonable, and honest in his views and opinions. Great stream, and vid.
I agree with a lot of his views on this 4.0 update but I also disagree with some. But over all I think he was balanced with his take, he was neither too excited nor too critical. A far balanced approach. I still love Tectone and the fact that people are still shitting on this man for stuff he didn’t even do and over exaggerating things only proves the point the community can be outright dumb.

Agree. He was playing Star Rail and asked if Sumeru story was as good as the recent star rail update and most of them said no, trash, etc....... I'm sorry??? As an obsessed star rail fan and casual genshin player the new star rail update was nice but underwhelming.... meanwhile, the sumeru story quest was actually one of my favorites. conductors actually do a lot! they're the ones who tell the musicians how to make the music sound, which sounds confusing, but they tell them what they want louder or what they want softer, what they want faster/slower, etc.. they do that through their movements, and they also keep everyone in time. the conductor does a lot before rehearsing a piece, they must study it to determine the hidden chords under all the melody and make sure they shine through, it gives the music character. and by doing this, as well as reading what the composer wrote about the piece, the conductor can help the musicians bring the music to life, just the way the composer intended it for it to be played. if the conductor was not there, the musicians are going to be out of time, but considering that these are professional musicians, the chances are slim. musicians all have different ideas, they're all creative and the music speaks to everyone in different ways, giving them different ideas and characters. so if they all had different ideas on how the music should sound, then how the music will sound in the end will be chaos. therefore the conductor brings the composer's ideas to life rather than trying to find a way to make everyone happy. this was in no way intended to be a hate comment, or an "actually" comment, i know a lot of people think that conductors don't do anything when they do! it's just not common knowledge to most. what i said applies to what i think as a musician myself, it is not textbook, condcutors do various things depending on the way they want to do things with their group :)
You are correct. It's obvious he has never been in a choir or a band. Conductors are VERY important. You can have a good choir but a shitty conductor and guess what? The choir sounds shitty cuz the conductor doesn't know what they are doing. I've literally experienced this when in high school. Had a shitty conductor but she was made to retire cuz her mind was going. Then we got a new teacher and was a waaaay better conductor and we were so good we got to go to new york and sing at Carnegie Hall with other choirs from around the U.S.. It was awesome. It's frustrating to see people shit on things when they have no idea what they are talking about.
although you are correct, on a staged production like this one, the conductor may as well be an accessory, because the musicians have already trained so much for the performance they probably aren't even looking.
@@prospect2 If you use you eyes and look, some musicians still look at the conductor. Just because they are professional, doesn't mean they won't make mistakes and will need to rely on the conductor if they feel like they need a little push to keep them on track. Even if you are confident in your ability to play the music, people can still get nervous and therefore, will be more prone to mistakes and that is where the conductor comes in (to be a steady source of direction). If there wasn't a need for conductors at a professional level, they wouldn't be there. If you have any experience in choirs or bands, then you would know this.
The main purpose of unlocking that teleporter is to let new player doesn’t have to walkthrough a big ahh desert to get to Fontaine. Tectone said he doesn’t like Lyney clothes design but I remember him 2 years ago when he watched the Teyvat chapter trailer and he first saw Lyney and Lynette 💀

I was there during the livestream. I saw some of the comments that people were making and coming up with some made up crap just to make Tectone look bad. Like the mfs have literally nothing better to do than to attack him. And the fact that some people got offended when he called these losers out just baffles me.
I feel like Hoyo tried to do a hybrid of Paris in the 1800s and Venice in the 1700s, but didn't necessarily get it at the right point and now it looked like some futuristic tourist tractions for Casinos and Hotels.
It's meant to be based on France in like the 1920s or somethin. Fontaine means fountain in French so I'm assuming it's old France. Even tho it doesn't look like those places, I think it's a cool design, honestly reminds me of Dubai a bit.
1:09:30 Inazuma is the most hyped nation due to the fact we are going to fight one of the most ruthless archon, and also it's base on Japan so the hype for it is very much understandable. I'm personally also think that Inazuma archon quest have gave a lot more impact than any other archon quest so far. BUT, while Inazuma story start with a bang, the execution is just mid in writing wise. But I still never forget how finishing Inazuma 3rd act gave me goosebumps for 2 hours straight, thanks for all those epic cutscene they gave us. Now with all of that, storytelling and lore wise which actually move Genshin story plot further, Sumeru is undoubtedly the best one by far. And it also filled with tons of goosebump moment as well especially on how the story build from mid in first 2 hours, then goes mysterious and interesting in the next few hours of doing the quest. I will always rate Inazuma Archon quest for 8/10 regardless of what people say, but 8.5/10 for Sumeru especially the emotional impact and the twist at the end.
I think Inazuma could have been much better the resistance was given less screen time, little to no mention about the watasumi god that was slain by her.
imo, inazuma's design is by far the best and while exploring the islands and doing the world quests, u do get the feeling that this place is ruled by a dictator but that experience could've been a hundred times better if they'd put more effort into the archon quest. i wish they'd shown us a few more cruel sides of ei and just left her as a ruthless archon instead of giving us that sorry excuse of a redemption arc. they could've just done what they did with scara. they gave us an explanation/redemption arc and then just left him with his nasty personality which i really like, i'm so happy he's still ready to murder someone instead of becoming all sparks and smiles like ei.

There's the multilayered map and them fixing the thing where it prevents you from taking a quest because an NPC is busy in another one but aside from that nope. Fontaine has such a beautiful design!! Though I’m interested in how underwater swimming is gonna work and how that’ll work because it can easily can a bit complicated…
Water exploration and bounded exploration to fontaine characters are not gameplay risks? Heck TCG was a risk, even as early as dragon spine with the sheer cold mechanic. It's casual because most of the content is trivial and not time sensitive.
@@Mathster_live You are definitely the target audience for this game because you are blindsided by hoyo. Water exploration is literally the same as any other exploration, the only difference is the animation which is swimming. TCG is the only innovation the game has had since its launch but it had no incentive, so although it was a risk, nobody plays it so it might as well not exist. The content is casual because they just want you to explore and look at pretty things. If you like that, this update is perfect but I would rather not waste my time on this children's game.

You're only explaining to me why you don't fancy the new game play they added and not why they're not risks. TCG was a huge risk because if you haven't notice, genshin is an open world gacha mobile game and adding a different type of gameplay loop outside of the openworld and gacha content will definitely turn people off but it definitely has a following given there are tournaments. No incentives? Seems like you just have different goals from the people who play tcg, it's a deck building game and a lot of people just love it for that aspect. I too wish they added more gems to some goals in TCG but to say that you speak for other people that they feel they're not incentivize to play it is just narcissistic. The same goes with the water exploration and fontaine character bound exploration mechanics, they're objectively and mechanically different from previous patches so they're a bit of a risk to implement because they're systems that can make or break fontaine exploration for a lot of people. Not only do you not comprehend how adding something outside of the current norm is risky, you also pretend to speak and understand other people enough to put words in their mouth. My biggest complaint is having to wait for the water archon. IMO the archons should be early in the update, like the second banner or so. Not months later after you've done nearly everything.
He's so right about the magic siblings especially the twins. They're both lackluster in design and Lynette being a free 4* while Lyney is a p2w 5* is beyond stupid. Sure sure i misspoke or w/e meant p2w in a "not standard banner" sense + the whole new mechanic for Fontaine characters - fearing the worst that hoyoverse is going to make the newest region + abyss unplayable without at least one "ying" and one "yang" character or whatever bs they called it. Lynette is free AFTER 4.0 and Freminet will be in 2nd half but neither of them sound like xiangling or benett levels of good and flexible. I'm 17 minutes in and I'm already disappointed. The visuals are beautiful, but the fact that you have to swim so slowly (even the sprinting seems slow) is beyond me. All this advanced tech in the overworld and they couldn't introduce an underwater exosuit, or something along those lines, to make traversing the water faster and make underwater combat more interesting? Edit: I'll admit the machines look cool too. Gives me Nier Automata vibes.
49:44 Im pretty sure they are holding off on the really good shat until the 2nd and 3rd Archon Quest. Right now it looks lame because they don't want to spoil the story. I mean.... she's a Geo character (you can see her Geo Vision on her left shoulder under her gold bowtie) which means she'll have issues for that reason alone She's also using Whitebind in the trailer so it suggests she's a Claymore user as well and likely scales off DEF...hell if they give her a unique shield like Zhongli/Noelle's and is 2nd best after Zhongli she'd be a good pickup option for that reason alone so I can have another good option besides Zhongli/Noelle/Layla for a shield...hell if they can make her scale with DEF similar to Itto she could even hit fairly hard (hell have Redhorn/whatever Itto's weapon was called so I can swap it between them too). I mean as long as they at least focus on the role she plays and gives her just 1 role she should be better than Dehya as the issue there was her kit was all over the place: dps burst but bad damage values for said burst and then defensive e skill that rarely procs which means it does very little damage and generates little enegry and doesn't even fully negate damage like a shield does....If you have Zhongli, Noelle, or Layla you don't need her at all and if you have Albedo you can constantly generate EM shields so even if they break fast they are easily replaceable (and if you build Albedo right his E skill does a stupidly large amount of damage...i'm getting about 20K on crits, 15K non crits and it procs much more often than Dehya (or at least the field is up forever so it feels that way)...Same issues seems to apply to Baizhu too from what I hear where they threw too much into his kit nothing really is stellar. Hell even with Kokomi not being able to do damage she's at least a great unit in terms of healing and even applying hydro via her e skill (though the only Issue I do have for her is he E skill only heals the on field character...with the introduction of the wolves/corrosion it's annoying if your off field character gets one shot when you bring them in due to the fact corrosion affects the entire party).
As far as the characters shown (for 4.0 and later) the only ones I really plan to definitely pull will be the Hydro archon (obviously as they're almost always best in slot for their role) and Navia (blond hair chick with the umbrella...granted her likely being Geo will of course be an issue in its own right unless the new mechanic for Fontaine only characters makes Geo stronger (or at least her)...it's not like they explained much about it). After those 2 then the electro pirate chick and the 2nd in command guy after the archon (tall guy with white hair) would probably be the next ones up I'd pull for (granted if they come before the archon/blond chick I'll be skipping them to make sure I have primos for the two of them as I'm not gonna put money in the game if I can avoid it). As for the 4.0 characters all but Lynette looked mid and thankfully we get at least one free copy of her just for getting to adventure rank 25 (which I've been at max AR for years now so no worries there). As or underwater combat...it's kinda looking iffy tbh as all I've seen them do in this video was great since all I saw was a bubble to hit enemies away or shoot them with what looked like a water bullet at enemies...I can kinda get why they didn't try the normal combat based off elemental reactions as you'd always be affected by Hydro and probably nuke yourself when attacking. Unfortunately I doubt combat styles will change for characters underwater which kinda sucks even if it was just unique attacks for weapon type differences. Games really can't figure out a way to make underwater combat work huh lol. As for exploration it will either be annoying as hell or decent...at least the first time around as chances are if we don't need to enter the water again (basically to get chests and the like) in an underwater region of Fontaine's map we never will again and will instead just use waypoints to travel. At the very least it'll look visually pleasing if nothing else. The story at least already looks like it'll at least beat out Mondstadt and Liyue's main scenario just from what was shown in the trailer and maybe even Sumeru's (which was 2nd best after Inuzuma's main scenario). Likely most of us who've been meh on Genshin will check in on the 4.0 to 4.2 updates more than the later updates as they're the main story updates and if 4.3 onwards follows the same trend as previous region's updates outside of the Dainsleif quest patch update the other updates will likely be meh/ones we play only enough to get event primos and then take off for more than half the update (I don't really even need to do the dailies that much anymore as I generally only go for 2 or 3 characters at most since Sumeru/end of Inuzuma and you get about 5 or so 5* pulls guaranteed via chests/quests/events/abyss in the entire regions series of updates (example 3.0 to 3.8 would guarantee at least 2 new 5 stars if you lose the 50/50 and up to 5 5*s if you win and don't go to 90 pity each time). I will say I do question allowing new players to skip to Fontaine's region after Mondstadt's questline as if there's any references to past region's storylines that just creates contextual issues for new players...hell this trailer alone shows Childe's coming back so if they don't do the Liyue questline they're more or less left hanging on what his background and interactions with the Traveler was (unless they somehow rewrote all regions past Mondstad's storylines/gave it different dialogues based off what regions/storylines the player completed which i do not see Hoyoverse or even the best developers out there willing to do tbh due to how much work/time that'd take...only way I can see them doing that is if they were already working on past regions alternate dialogue as far back as the 2.0 series of updates. Guess I'll try to finish up the current temp region quest, caribet questline, and maybe Nahida's 2nd story questline (so I can finally unlock that weekly boss...didn't really need it as I didn't get any character from its release onward but Lynette may need it for her talents unless they gave 4.0 a weekly boss (which none of the previous updates did...generally the first weekly boss is in the __.2 update and the 2nd around the __.6 update.
I hate that this game will never reach its full potential…so much. Like they have almost everything down, appealing characters (sometimes), music, scenery, occasionally interesting story and extremely fun combat, but they just refuse to do ANYTHING for it, it’s as if they hate their combat system. Like there obviously, OBVIOUSLY does not need to be some super insane dark souls endgame (this should go without saying but people in this community are idiots that can’t think outside of extremes) but there should be SOME endgame that involves the combat. Literally all the flaws that this game has, waffling overly verbose npcs and Paimon padding the story, slow Qol implementations and a terrible Anti-buffing mindset for older garbage characters could be overlooked by me if they just gave me something to justify all the grind I went through during the 2 years I played the game. Literally the only semblance of permanent dumb fun involving the combat that exists in the game is that one lonely ass domain on the ass crack of Tsurumi Island with a big amount of enemy spawns. Even the open world offers nothing but transient, dull gameplay because you wander around aimlessly looking for chests and then occasional encounter an enemy that you insta kill and then the mf is gone for the rest of the day. This shit is so sad. But ay at least the kids and mindless simps have their minigames amirite?
Teccy, did you not pick up on the fact that there's a new reaction?? Pneuma and Ousia react to make Annihilation. It's nutty, but you didn't react when they explained it at all.
Usually the exploration is the only thing that’s actually good about the game for a hardcore explorers like me, but the fact the underwater area is restricted by its slow speed and stamina, and the above ground being very empty in comparison to Sumeru’s complex topography makes the update feel very underdeveloped. If the exploration is as I expected from the livestream, it’s gonna be a terrible year for them unless they redeem themselves next update
we barely saw anything of the overworld to really judge except for a few clips in the transition between lyney/lynette and freminet, but the map overlay shows that the region seems to have a bunch of mountains and zones, and we’ll probably get something like the aranyaka questline but with the melusines
@@MsBlacknight21 they’re all shown in the livestream. But the point is they barely showed anything other than the underwater area and features. They showed so little of the difference in biomes and its topography in the above ground compared 2.0 and 3.0 livestreams that I don’t see why they couldn’t give us a bit more of a tease of it. The only other thing I can judge is the wide angle shot of the above ground Fontaine, which doesn’t look all that complex compared to Sumeru and Inazuma. As I said, that’s only an expectation judging from the livestream alone. If there’s a lot more to the map, that means they’ve shown too little compared to the previous streams
@@LONKULADE Let them be, they would get mad at literally EVERYTHING also, if they put censorship bubbles in fontaine, I don't think they will EVER make swimsuit skins now, and I was already not expecting swimsuit skins from them to begin with

aside from focalors herself, i don't think we got a single peak at a potential hydro character at all. 1 pyro 2 cryo 1 anemo 1 electro that's it. and this is the region of hydro really hoping for a GOOD hydro shield unit, specifically of the 4 star variety, cause xingqiu fits into way to many teams and it's become a problem cause of how important he is in multiple different teams
@@CallieBlader neuvilette is hydro is all I’m sayin, plus you can say the same about Liyue. Way back when it was just Zhongli and Ninguang, sure we have Yunjin now but that was a long time after. Sure it’s fair to say it’d be nice to have more hydros, but we’ve already got a lotta hydros for them to make Fontaine hydro focused character-wise. Plus I don’t know if you look at leaks but I’ve heard decent things about Focalors so idk she may be what ur lookin for anyway
Master Ping probably also has all the characters and at highest levels w/best artifacts. I really hope Master Ping is proud of his people. They doing well with these games. 🇨🇳🇨🇳❤️💜🥀
The Trailer: 😧👺👹🤖💀❤🔥 The Gameplay Advertised In The Same Video: 🔨 👶🍼🚼🚶🚮 Clearly a creative diffrence in the game dev team, if they would just have the gameplay match the story's drama and action instead of having us play stupid Mario party minigames for half a butt scratch of primo gems then the game would be a million times more enjoyable. Have me sitting there playing wack a mole for 10 min, or walking around the same circled area playing hide and seek with a bubble monster irelevant to the story and im gone. Make short events that ACTUALY contribute to the story or at the very least use ACTUAL characters instead of NPC's that all you did was switch hair models and called it a day. Add Playable characters into the Open World, like idk have a random emergency event where you have to help Hu Tao defeat a mini boss, Or Race Kokomi in a water swimming event with decent rewards, or see itto playing TCG in a random table with random dialogue. Its torture having to see the same NPC's for 3 years straight and have the same stupid, "Emergency: Defeat the 3 slimes" with my AR 60 Lvl 90 Yae Miko. Enough with the FLASH games.
@@raiden8063 Been playing since Day 1 non stop, not every minor event has characters most of them are stupid side quests with NPC's we don't even see after 1 event. They seriously need to update NPC models
@@vnreeobviously they were expecting it to basically be a whole new game with a bunch of new power systems and new never heard of before story etc… lol but really, some people will really never be satisfied
@@mintsugas idk about others but my expectations was artifacts drop rate increased or better way to farm those stats like HSR, auto domain farming. Resin cap raise to 240. New weapon type, underwater combat. Let's not jk lamia literally fights underwater. A billion $ company should be able to create a different style of combat for underwater, it was a good opportunity to add osial's wife as boss, an underwater boss we could fight with underwater combat which doesn't rely on element reaction. More banners or weekly rotations. Each nation has its own version of Abyss and gives us 600 primo every 15 days. Or week idk their were lot of opportunities to make this slowly dying game a better but what they did is add character animations for party and party background lmao. Everything else is same like the usual update we get for new maps. Mecha enemies aren't that impressive~ the only thing got me excited is clorinde and childe~ this is the most mid new region heck inazuma was way better than this.
Ppl in the comments really expect this game to reinvent itself every update😭..probably bc they played the games hours upon hours every day and got tired of the overall game system🤷🏽♀️ it seems some just don’t like the game but have a difficult time giving it up lol..
It's the same thing as "I can fix him" or "I can see what he can become." Genshin has alot of untapped potential under the hood wrapped in great presentation.
So true. So tired of the complaining by 3 year old adults that want something new all the time. They don't understand how good they have it. I love the update and look forward to the underwater areas. These people are just chronically online and have nothing else to spend their time and energy on except games and rage 🤣
I actually listen to a bunch of the character themes and some of the concert remixes outside of the game. And Duel in the Mist (Inazuma Battle Theme 2 I believe). I have 1 song in star rail I would listen to outside of the game which is funny because electronic/dance/funk is what I usually listen to as my preferred music tastes. So something out of star rail is probably what I would enjoy more normally. Its one of the songs on the Astral Express I cant remember the name of it but I need to download it later and add it to my playlist.
@@Lily-cd6gu idk they just felt a little watered down to me. Maybe it's because I played so much star rail that the models are starting to look a little bit off to me.
Nothing can ever beat the trailer for Inazuma. It was really hype and especially at the end where Raiden draws her sword was very lit. I still get chills whenever I watch the trailer.
Well look at the bright side: since she's a 4* they had no issue giving us her for free...if she was a 5* that would never have happened...and yeah she looks the best out of the 3 of them both visually and even combat wise imo, granted her stats will likely be too low to make her a meta dps option, hopefully they're high enough to at least not be an issue with all content sides maybe floor 11 and 12 in abyss (which I don't even bother with most of the time as it just feels too much of a hassle to continue once I get to floor 11 due to how much HP the enemies have).
It’s crazy that the most effort is always put into the music. Character development is recycled even down to abilities now. The music always blows me away. The story progression not so much.
Which character transforms themselves into a cat in a hat with a spotlight on them then explodes? You don't actually know what you're talking about and about the story progression, you haven't even played it yet so how the hell do you know? Did you watch some beta playthrough? You didn't obviously and you're just talking nonsense. Music this music that, there's plenty of good things that ties the exploration together like the terrain designs, lighting and dynamic weather, the music is just the cherry on top of it. It's such a shame that people like you don't see the designers and developers behind the areas in the game.
Ppl can like the game for other things beside combat like the scenery, exploration, mini games etc, that doesn't mean it's for children. Yall just appreciate one thing and ignore the rest. I want more combat too but cmon you gotta give some credit where its due.
@@Starlight-s6n I love all that. But baby and "adults" are all acting like children and complaining that their sky high Expectations haven't been met. I'm what you would call a hardcore casual. I like getting characters, lvling them up decently enough so they can clear enemies wilth relative ease but not a meta player, exploring, collecting, interacting with the world's etc. But all these childish people whining and crying 。・゚゚*(>д
@@AshXiao1 Hey now, not everyone is "wah wah no combat update" and is just constantly talking nonsense about the game. I for one would love more permanent combat content, like we're already getting steady story, region and TCG/Tea pot updates for casual players, so why can't other players ask for permanent combat content? Both can coexist and it really bothers me that especially in the recent iterations of the abyss, a lot of people said "You asked for this" when I and a lot of like minded asked for MORE combat content not a HARDER or REFINED abyss. I personally want both, more casual and more combat content PLEASE.
Hardcore is one of theose words that can have a double meaning in gaming. It can either mean you're a sweaty tryhard, or that you love the game a lot and want to play it all the time. In the case of the latter, I don't think the devs were lying that most of them are hardcore Genshin players.
The hilarious part of the ad for part 1 is the fact that it took them soooo long just to verify their files, not even download the game. A truthful ad for once!
dropped genshin and I was hoping there would be some incentive for me to start again. Seems like there is really none at all. How the hell is there not even one combat update. thats so sad
I decided to challenge myself a bit in fontaine. Ill only pull for fontaine chracters and only use them for this region. I also agree i wish lynette and lynel was a duo. wasted opportunity.
no new endgame content no changes to the artifact system no changes to the resin system no changes to abyss 15 days interval its still same exploring system on different places i love this fucking game but wtf, complaining about it is the same to talk to a wall
@@shizhou5809 Oh naw, it applies to both, but excusing one's flaws because another game does it "worse" is just a horrible response to a game's issues.
4.0 seems like a really great introduction to fontaine as opposed to a major content update, im hoping that theres lots to do in 4.1 and 4.2, since theyre story patches
Reason childe looks mid because Fontaine is Suppose to be showy and glittery ❤ looks like a fun area and I want Lyney he so cute and Freminet he looks amazing too but the one I want most is Neuvillette the chief justice he looks awesome let’s be really they all look good ❤ you can tell it’s based on France
I like that the haters are here, not all but some are just here to defend without understanding that this man once loved the game, and is already disappointed and expects the BARE minimum now rather than expecting so much like before.
That's a lie, sadly, as much as it's tempting to believe it I can understand the disappointment with spiral abyss hp sponges, maybe some endgame would be nice, but that is all.. although we literally got endgame in the shape of tcg, he's constantly mad that they're focusing a lot on tcg and adding new stuff to it. Got what he wanted, still mad. Classic. He says that "Inazuma was peak both in design, environment and characters". I love genshin a lot, but Inazuma is literally dogshit right now compared to what Fontaine is. He also said that the story in Inazuma was peak. What was? Bloated dialogue that he already claims to hate, 10 hours of setup and like 5 good cutscenes? They even pushed Yoimiya stuff into the archon quest. How was it peak? Yet he claims to have no expectations, okay. Then he made a poll on stream to see what people would rate it (even though he knows that his chat consists of people who actually hate the game unlike him), they rated it 5-6 and 7-8 mostly. Bro actually said "yeah, that's to be expected, a 6.5 for Fountaine" It is baffling?? Inazuma is, again, like a 4/10 compared to Fontaine, he's lying to himself for acceptance from his chat He said in a previous video that what he expects from Fontaine the most is using any unit to swim and dive. We got it. The water level literally looks better than most games which purely consist of water levels. Yet still, a 6.5. I don't get how that is "no expectations". I actually cannot put my mind to how he likes hsr more, yes, there's a lot of mistakes fixed compared to genshin, but I think any normal person would understand that it is made so people will come to hsr. Also while he may have understandable opinions, he gathered an audience of people who fucking despise the game and go out of their way to show it. Now he has to please them lmao
We can all agree that the games has flaws but I feel us Hoyoverse players have been spoiled by the devs we get a new event each update even some reused but don’t blame them they can’t make one each update. The story drags on so much but the lore is great imagine how much planning they have and had to do to make all the lore connect.
@@astra-nomia not to mention hsr is in the early stage I bet he would complain after some new updates that does not consist of the main quest. Also I agree that Inazuma story was pretty bad they really should have split it like Sumeru. And not add meaningless dialogue.
@@ik.-. yeah i don't think any of the early regions were "peak", it will only get better from now on as they learn from their mistakes. Inazuma was heavily relying on the element of surprise - Signora's death, shogun battle, twin sister archon, shogun being a puppet, etc. But now they implement other characters in abundance. It isn't just all related to Ei, it is now different characters - we got told in the program that Neuvilette, Navia, Chlorinde, Lyney, Lynette, Furina, Charlotte, and other newer and older characters will all participate in the archon quest. Also gonna be better split and less bloated because the archon quest is in three parts - 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, the main focus is gonna be exploration instead. The only things I can actually agree with tectone on is the fact that genshin is mostly casual now and the story - "the story is probably gonna be traveler getting arrested again for shit we didn't even do", like in Liyue. I mean, seems likely, considering in 3.8 they showed traveler swimming from somebody's perspective and Alice says "And we can let the court decide their fate" Also I get that paimon can be annoying, but not to the point where he literally says every patch "can we drown paimon". It's not funny anymore but his chat of incels eat that shit up like it's a five-star dish Hsr is only 1.2 as of now and he already praises it as if it's not a completely different concept from genshin. I still don't understand how he doesn't get the fact that hoyo is doing some things on purpose. It's obvious that they actually care, because they wouldn't fix anything otherwise. However in hsr every single problem of genshin is magically "fixed" , does he really think they left all of it in genshin on accident? It's obvious that they want people to get into honkai early on. He's talking shit as if hoyo is 5 people total working on the game while it actually has marketing teams several times more in size .
@@astra-nomia I think most genshin tectone content is just basically complain abt genshin since most of his viewers just complain abt the game and he has to continue with this because if he doesn’t say anything bad about it people would not watch him as much, though some of the things he complains I agree I think some complaints are just meaningless like his complaining for the sake of it
