We are having three super full moons in a row August, September and October and I’ve heard that super full moons increase earth quake activity historically. Maybe that is why we are having all this activity?
could be. im no astrophysicist but i cant help but wonder if maybe we often underestimate the gravitational influence of the moon. again. not an expert. just an insmniac. lol
The sun ☀️ is at Solar Maximum for the next few years. Coronal Mass Ejections cause Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Storms, Hurricanes, Flooding, Forrest fires, Crustal displacement and Pole shifts.
Full/new moons slightly increase earthquake potential since the gravitational pull of the moon is aligned with the pull of the sun during those times. But it's a small factor and limited to certain fault types. I expect the "supermoon" aspect doesn't significantly increase chances either since the moon really doesn't change that much in its orbit.
We've been getting a small swarm 4.7 biggest in NSW Aust. too. Muswellbrook. Bit odd but also located at a coal mine so perhaps all the blasting has finally loosened up something?
I always have a large number of birds in my yard. I have numerous bird feeders. For 4 days I have no birds in my yard or on trees in fence behind me. Dead silence!! It is a very complete silence. I in Napa, Ca !!
I'm not sure if the individual faults are named, but they refer to the area as the Central Walker Lane fault system, just south east is where the Monte Cristo Range 6.5 happened in May 2020
Parkfield has like a 6-point something every 22 years or so. Santa Barbara faultline is overdue to, they have one on the average of every 50 years and the last one was in 1978 I've noticed Santa Barbara is kind of quiet right now, but in this decade Santa Barbara should have their 6-point something too.
@Maevelikeschampagne which 1 is first its been said and researched that they can set each other off. ST. Helen's is refilling quick and Mt Renier & Hood are active lately for the North. Salton Sea + edge areas are active down south. Vegas is active OMG it has 5 major fault lines in or around town some can give a 7. If they loose Hoover dam you should consider Vegas is out of water.
REALLY. Don't make comments lf you don't like go to another channel and get totally wrong info. You have to realize some areas small quakes for that area are large. Check out etna in Italy. If you don't like this channel go to another don't criticize. 😮
@@CarolTeza-i7d No matter where you go seismic activity under 5.0 is little. I live in Los Angeles County CA, and have since the 50s. We have hundreds of small quakes weekly from 1.9 to o 4.9. Only recently have they started reporting quakes so small that people have to ask, " did you feel that?" Feel what?🤣 Since the 50s I've lived within 12 miles of two major earthquakes! The Sylmar Quake of 1971 and the Northridge Quake of 1994, both around 6.9! Those get your attention! However, that far away damage is minimal to none unless the structure was old and ready to fall down. Only resently have they been making a deal about tiny seismic activity. It keeps the people scared and easier to control and it sell a lot of earthquake preparment stuff that people don't need!🙋🤦😵💫🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
