my money is thats its just DnD play, we arent in Mondstat we are only in Mondstat in DnD, the DnD storyline will probably have ancient lore hints or paralel some past events, but i expect nothing important to happen at all, unlike Sigewines "oh no, fancy new disease ravaging fontaine"
It probably works like Windtrace and the tower defense game: we aren't inside the real Cathedral, we are sitting around the table and playing, while Genshin Impact lets us experience things more vividly than a real tabletop game can do.
@@mastazenkei indeed that can be the case, but some spoiler from aoi koga (paimon va) in some interview said that paimon indeed come with surprise in the future but she isnt evil. I want to believe in her word about that 😌
I honestly think that Dainsleif is going to become a tragic antagonist, the way Kevin Kaslana became one in HI3. We know from the Teyvat chapter preview we will have to fight him during the Khanri’ah chapter. I think he plans to use the traveler in some way to enact his vengeance, and Lumine refused to allow him to use her and that’s why they split ways, so now he’s trying to do it with her sibling, but the sibling has Paimon instead. I think Dainsleif purposely came looking for Aether as soon as he was aware that he had awoken, to try and guide him, only to find that Aether was found by Paimon and that Lumine was already watching her brother’s journey, so he’s slowly trying to win Aether to his side, while Lumine is playing the part of the villain, for reasons unknown to us still. She seems to be focused on letting Aether witness the world and make his own choice while Dainsleif is actively trying to win Aether to his side. While it did seem cruel that Lumine approved the cleansing ceremony to try and remove the curse of the hilichurls, what exactly is Dainsleif doing to help the people of Khanri’ah? It seems like he is content to allow them to remain cursed forever. What did the Khanri’ahians do that pissed Dainsleif off so much that he decided even innocent people living in Khanri’ah deserved a fate worse than death? We know what Lumine’s plans are, she won’t stop until she has overthrown celestia, and freed the people of Khanri’ah from the curse and fate. But besides wanting to stop Lumine, we know nothing about Dainsleif motivations which is super suspicious. Sure he says he hates Celestia, but why does it seem like he wants to preserve their judgement and order?
@@AstraLuna-o9i yeah cant agree more that dain is really suspicious from the start. Thats why i always excited whenever we continue the archon quest. I really need to know the truth. as for our sibling, i think she really want us to understand all of this by ourself instead. Thats why she dont tell us directly. It really hits different, but i think there would be something more about it. We know that she really miss her brother from the new animation, so i really want to know what's the thing that hold her to take her brother to her side immediately after she know he already awoken.
@@mzakibariza8853 What holds her from taking her brother is the fact that our journey is not over yet and we are too weak to fight in the big end war. She want us to discover the truth about the world by ourselves and not by her words alone, so we need to travel to each nation and meet each archons and locals to know about their nation, traditions and free the zone from celestia's grasp. The issue with Dainsleif is, why does he keeps us away from our sibling, everytime he just want us to follow him and do his biding by not really answering anything and being fully fague about everything he knows. You can't tell me a man who can read leyline, that lives for over 500 years can't answer questions? Yea, he hides a lot of things from us because he doesn't want us agains't him. He acts like "I'll help you find your sibling, but first..." but i think he just try to make us an enemy of our sibling so he can complete is unknowned plan he couldn't finish with our sibling a long time ago.
my early speculation is that when melusines are still discriminated heavily, sigewinne was among them (since other melusines seems to imply she's very old) and what ever experiment she's been through made her look human
Honestly, I had a different theory on why Sigewinne looks human. All the Melusines are born from the blood of a huge creature (Elynas was it called?), and there was a battle there, right? I would imagine that human blood was spilled on the scene as well. If human blood mixed with the creature's blood, it could have made a Melusine that was part human. Not my theory, heard it elsewhere, but that's my thought on it. However, judging by the experimental imagery in the trailer, this is likely not the case anymore.
Most things in this game of some kind of lore explanation, even if just shoehorned in, so I'm surprised that so many people really thought they wouldn't address that.
Another thing I noticed was how the framing of certain scenes (the dainsleif ones, specifically) kinda made him look like a sort of a mastermind of some sort of plan (especially the one when the camera zooms out from a tower where he is standing and looking down- to a giant monster)
lol, more like a scenario which leaves with a thousand questions for the community to say genshin storytelling is deep. maybe it will be different this time, but they keep using the same formula over and over again and its very old and obnoxious right about now.
The cup on the table in the witch event held this time is the same as the red cup in the last scene of the Witches' Association PV, and it is the same as the one found in Diluc's house and assumed to be Diluc's mother. There may be a connection in that it is a unique design.
2:13 - And one more Hex member to mention: That teapot floating in the air is very similar in design to cup "through which" Mage "N" speaks to us during Fontaine AQ.
The Hexenzirkel is inconsistent with the witches' married life and status. If J had to retire to get married, why is Alice still in Hexenzirkel having married someone and birthed Klee?
It seems logical to me that Nicole's tea set is also at the Dawn Winery in Diluc. If you remember well his story "Diluc narrowly escaped death at the hands of the Harbingers thanks to a third-party observer from the north, who was part of a vast underground intelligence network" The only group powerful enough to take a prey from the Harbingers like someone taking candy from a child are the Witches of the Hexenzirkel.
Navia's Vision story actually talks about a time when she played dungeons and dragons(not outright named, but the rules were identical) on her birthday alongside her dad, some members of the Spina, and Clorinde! They were all playing as characters who acted opposite of themselves lol
It could be possible that Dainsleif asked the question to Lumine "Traveler, do you think your sibling has betrayed you?" Instead of Aether. Maybe that was past memory. This is theory.
Unlikely, Dainsleif calls Lumine “Lumine” just like how he calls Aether by the name we choose, Traveler=The name you picked for your MC So if someone says traveler they are talking to you.
What if the loom of fate Dainsleif and Abyss twin are talking about is the 3rd descender? An artificial god that rivals Celestia,The Tsaritsa will have all of the gnoses soon enough.Maybe then they’re talking about the 3rd descender.
Hmm…So are we finally seeing part of the Gnostic Chorus/Battle Pass story? “But she was deceived, and the memory of her noble origins faded” I’m guessing the snake in the Battle Pass cutscene symbolizes Dainslief?
If the sibling stopped being a descender because their fate was mixed with Teyvat and became recorded in Irminsul. Perhaps part of the plan of the loom of fate is for the sibling to become a descender again and be free from Teyvat's fate. The current sibling could be a memory of the original one recorded in the Leylines, perhaps Khaenri'ah revived the memory of the sibling. With the original sibling being the third descender, who died and got turned into the gnosis. The Tsaritsa might be helping to revive the sibling in their true form. I think the Tsaritsa and the sibling have the same goal. Get power to be able to stand up against Celestia.
Considering that they only need the Pyro Gnosis left, Project Stuzha will be commenced not too far in the future. We will probably get to see her plan unveiled at the end of the next year
@MorgrimKey the story doesn’t tell us when the Twins arrived in Teyvat only when they Awakened, also the Sibling would have had to awaken prior to the Cataclysm…
@@EthHawke94 And also don't know if u saw the animation light in the abyss, for hoyo its common that the player is aether and the abyss twin is Lumine, on that animation she was like lowkey tp'd or materialized in from of the kaneriahns one of them being Pierro or the jester
5:45 I had a thought on this and if we follow this line of thinking, it could be an explanation why the Abyss sibling is tied to this world because in the process of the operation, the Abyss sibling ended up being tainted by the abyss which is closely linked to Teyvat. (Farfetched thought honestly if the abyss is that strong to reel in an alien species and literally link them to Teyvat)
I'm really looking forward to this update, it seems we will be able to learn quite a bit of information from 4.7 Archon Quest, and these trailers are often presented in a way to change one's perspective while watching rather than ehat the situation actually is. I feel like we're really getting closer to the real reason the sibling joined the Abyss Order, and hopefully some insight into their line of thought. ♡
I honestly saw the dialogue about using something to gain a human form, and sure it could be about Sigewinne, but what if the major plot twist turns out to be about the traveller's sibling who has a human appearance now instead of some abyssal corrupted form she may have achieved despite her otherworldly status
The fact that they mentioned Clorinde liking ttrpgs combined with Navia's vision story makes me think they're referring to a ttrpg at 0:48, and we're in mondstadt because that's what the traveler is imagining
Thinking about it now, after this we may only have 1 more Dains quest after this before Khaenr'iah. Unless they decided to do a Dains quest inbetween Ch.6 and 7. So it makes sense that things are escalating quickly. Also, thinking about it, when was the last time we had to worry about the Abyss in one of the Archon quests. Technically in Dains' last quest, we didn't have to worry about them in the present, and we never had to worry about them in Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine's archon quest. We really only had to worry about them in Mondstadt and the 1st and 2nd Dains' quest. So yeah, all of that time they could have found a way to complete the loom of fate.
That's not really in character for the Traveler though, since they already saw what atrocities the Abyss can do to humankind. Kinda their fault though, the first time we saw them, they corrupted Dvalin's ass, and got us into so much trouble. Considering that the twins have been educated and taught about compassion and love, and to live with a heart of gold, it took a lot of trauma to turn the Abyss sibling to what they are now.
I'm hoping it let's us side with sibling cause I dont like dains way of doing things. The abyss twin actually cares while dain does not the choice is simple! Or better to say dain just gives up? He doesn't search to save them but fights to leave them in eternal agony. Meanwhile the abyss twin wants to save them from the curse. Sure her method might not work but she is trying atleast and those who try are the ones I want to stand beside.
@@mariavictoriabonanzalabbao5329Our quest of “Finding the sibling” was completed in Dain’s first quest (not counting the prologue) “We Will Be Reunited”, our current goal is “Exploring Teyvat”, as our twin advised us. It was said that until the Traveler walked the same path as the twin, they could not be reunited. The Traveler doesn't even know their sibling exact motives at the moment, but at the same time they try to understand the twin's decision - this is what they are doing now. So, who knows if we'll even be on the same side.
I also think that the Imaginarium theater could be made by Nicole, or be related to her as well since her cup/teapot is present at the table in the trailer
We witness floating islands in the Natlan region teaser so I'm assuming the siblings will be reunited in Natlan and, as suspicious as Dain's question is, I feel it serves a greater purpose: that our sibling hasn't betrayed us, rather they were betrayed themself.
Hey guys i have a thing to say this might be irrelevant or not but it's kinda similar to this one so I'll summarise it for y'all it is that I've played the god of war series and in the god of war 2 there was also a thing called "the loom of fate" and kratos(protagonist) could use it go in different timelines easily from a few years to as long as 1000+ years it was all possible through the powers of loom of fate so my take on genshin's loom of fate is that it's kinda similar to this one and we'll likely use it to go back in time when khaneri'ah was getting destroyed or something tho it's my speculation the genshin's loom of fate could be totally different. PS: the sole purpose of kratos for using the loom of fate was just to take his revenge back which exactly what our abyss sibling is trying to achieve
“Madam Mage” could also just be Lisa. The background is the library in Mondstadt. She has also done stuff like this but to a smaller extent, in an event for Klee last year (Dodoco adventure thing). So it’s not surprising if it was her.
I find it funny that a bit of Imaginarium Theater speculation that you have I also said upon watching the live stream, but as a joke. At first I saw the scenery and immediately thought of the Hexenzirkel, but joked about it with my brother saying it’s Mona’s master’s domain. I mentioned Mage N prior to that as well due to seeing that red cup or pot
okay when i think about it even more..the abyss sibling (kinda of) reminds me of tsaritsa, cuz so far they both want to overthrow celestia ( im guessing) and also are high key corrupt ( since tsarista is the god of "love" and the abyys sibling is highkey desprate to get they're sibling back) idk know where to go with this but oh well.. seeing how far it has gone dansleif prolly betrayed our sibling and the tsaritsa was (maybe) betrayed by celestia? ( im guessing she was mad about the distruction 500 years ago?)
could it be that the person in the tower ,is Dottore? He may have already appeared once in sumeru so he couldve travelled to fontain. The whole "she couldve been forced" makes me think that she couldve been one of his old experiments, similar to wanderer.
Pierro(Khanrian) refers to Teyvat as an Old world(in winternights lazzo teaser). And Teyvat was never called a new world by anyone. And khanrians were cursed in Teyvat, why would they feel better in new world if it's Teyvat? They felt better in the depths of the Chasm for example, so the new world can be the Abyss or something that Abyss order is trying to create from Teyvat. 3:18
The Human Realm aka Teyvat as we know it is a new world though. It wouldnt exist without the Primordial One overthrowing the Sovereigns and literally changing the world so that humans could live in it. No one refers to it as the new world cos theres basically no one around from back when only the Light Realm and the Abyss existed and its also sort of forbidden/forgotten history. Pierro only refers to Teyvat as the "old world" because the Fatui too are planning to create another new world without the rule of Celestia.
bloody hell!!! genshin has had me hooked for 3 yearsss (almost 4)!!!! aaaah i cant get enough its making me so tense that i might just puke! BTW NICE VIDEO
I mean, they can still use osial. He is down there chilling under the first jade chamber. We went down to the bottom to fight off his wife, it's doable for abyss in theory. But, I don't know. A god would only have a chance to change fate. I suspect it takes more than a god and field tiller core, probably in mihoyo fashion itl also take all the souls from the hilichurls into a collective will or something to rewrite fate. Those trees though... Bough keeper...
It's a nice nod at the fact that based on our individual experiences, we behave differently. It's then natural that we come to different conclusions and make different decisions. I'm really hoping they do something to show what our sibling went through that led them down that path. Be it an animation or story quest.
3:16 Now we know, that C. talks to the hilis. He tells a comforting tale like his father did to him. It has to be that because he didn't get cleansed and pure - just dead (and he was the base of the loom) 😅 It still can be a hidden story for us but so far I would say he just tried to paint an alternative future were hilis don't suffer anymore from this stupid curse... And we also know, that there is only one loom of fate and it is more like a machine than a god. A tool at any rate (although I think C. didn't cease to exist as it was told, because that picture description hints that his mind realm should not exist anymore but does (?). He said in the beginning he should have already not exist but he thinks, he did because he desperately wanted to help his comrades and have a sense of life before it all ends... Maybe the LoF still keeps him alive. Maybe his consciousness got connected to Irminsul through it? Feel like we'll havea surprise of some kind with that picture... The fight was in the present and... I think, the sword was not abyssal because the twin can turn it down. I think, they didn't want to kill Dain. Or that power doesn't give an advantage over his... We don't know cause they showed no fight at allll... And we know, that Dain asks that question about betrayal because he feels that way towards his own bro... But I also feel like he foreshadowed that we will see something in the future that makes us question our sibling's loyalty to us. They mentioned that we cannot meet because they're ashamed of themselves... Probably there is an inner conflict that will turn turn for the worst (abyssal corruption is at work). And then we will have to go back in time to prevent it from happening (I guess...)
To me "Loom of Fate" is pretty self explanatory, as in "the loom of fate where the three who are on weave the lives of all living things, Clotho the spinner, Lachesis the allotter and Atropos the inflexible" whether we are gonna see the three goddesses (maybe the moon sisters since the Fates are quite linked to Hecate the three-faced goddess) or just the tool that will be used to weave the destinies is a better question. And the mechanical Osial god is probably their way to operate it.
I think the reason why the traveler and the abyss twin have different ideas on what to do and what not to do could be because of what each has seen and what has come of that
Plot twist, the sibling golden/purple sword aura change is actually just her changing from Pneuma to Ousia like the Sword of Narzissenkreuz (I'm just joking)
Also paimon is the collection of the 3 moon sisters and istoroth as there last pure atampte to convice the sibling to take onnthis journey and save lumine and more over find the primordial one so that he can save asmoday from corrupted destruction and fading
You know we have our little delulu joke that on 2:29 it resembles Wolf Chan of SKZoo of Stray Kids the boy band group since the leader Bang Chan was known to have whaled on Wriothesley and his plushie animal representative is a wolf pup very similar to that one, there's even another one on the Special Program that a Ferret that looks like Jiniret, another plushie member of the same said grp is in there also, so yeah, a little non official of course easter egg for us I guess worth noting is all!! ☺️
It's good to see that the reason that sigewinne looks the way she does is not that hoyo just couldn't make a melusine playable character and there actually is lore behind it
What if sigewinne appearence is like the appearance of fontainians, they are melusine in human desguise so maybe sigewinne is a melusine in a human disguise too
How are the people of Fontaine melusines? O.o Melusines are melusines... (the, see stuff differently, taste stuff differently, obviously have different morality...) The Fontainians were oceanids (now full humans thx to Neuvi) As for Seigwinne, I smell Narzissenkreuz Ordo...
Genshin really needs pictures of all the major NPC's in the story, I have the same memorisation issue simply because theres no name to the face, even if its in a ingame book... Please Hoyo!
i dont think thats the Church of Favonius. the paned glass and alter are wrong and the alter is missing the pipe organ. while I have no doubt that this is in Mondstadt, its likely that its new sub area that allows us to access the new endgame content.
Honestly As far as i know Cat’s theory always based on some leak He do look on some story leaks and make theory about it, Which make his Theory amazingly accurate But when asking directly, he never admit it 😂😂😂😂
i think that the abbysl sibling is deff js doing all of this so traveler won't turn out like them ( or something close to that) because why would they suddenly turn evil after waiting 500 years just to find they're sibling?
All I ask, is when the Traveler and their Sibling will meet again. Please let the MAIN CHARACTER do the talking. Back in the day, "When we were reunited." had the ending, where Paimon were talking to the Traveler's Sibling, where the Traveler only had few dialogue options in the form of voiceless texts. I pray for voiced interraction, they desperately need it.
Im so much curious about Siegwinne on how and why she has human apperance For Dainsleif archon quest, It feels a bit rush for Aether and Lumine to finally meet but also at the same time it has already been 3 years when the game was released and they were separated for 500 years. I want to know if what Lumine meant to Aether "Why sre you with Dain?" There are still mysteries about Dain that we don't know of and if he really can be trusted or not and we know that Lumine would never hurt Aether (besides the abyss order, probably because of the corruption they have) I would also want to see Enju in this, he seems to be close with Lumine.
@@saif-gv6gl we don't know yet since there hasn't been a playable character that possess a different power (except for those that has visions like Cyno and Arlecchino) but it was already confirmed that Light and dark element exist and we may get a playable character but I don't know if there would be a elemental reaction but I'm pretty sure HoYo would add since there are MANY ideas that they didn't add for elemental reactions.
What if when Dainsleif asks the Traveler whether they believe their sibling to have betrayed them, WE will decide? And at some point, it will lead to the difference between the endings depended on which line we choose? Sorry that sounds like something Hoyo would never do, but my imagination is just endless
my theory is that dainsleif wanted to use the abyss sibling as the loom of fate before, to resurrect his people or like remove the curse of being hilichurls or something bad, and then the abyss sibling realizes they've been used all this time and just go back, feeling betrayed by him
Not only that but she will lost likely die from this and awther will be too late to save lumine by then cuz shes not in the panle after dain turns around and looks up stating he will do what he wanted this whole time
