I don't have the 150 KHz option under CPU switching frequency. Mine starts at 240 KHz. My motherboard is the MSI Z370-A PRO.

As a person also have an i5 8600k and tomahawk motherboard, I'm sorry to tell that you have made the wrongest tutorial about overclocking. 1. you should NEVER touch the cpu base ratio because it WILL cause instability 2. You should NEVER use the Adaptive mode in CPU CORE VOLTAGE MODE because the Vcore will jump up and down like crazy then also will cause instability 3. Using LCC mode 1 is SUICIDIAL . I dare you stress test your cpu with Aida64 or survive a 30-minute Cinebench R23 test with that configuration and see what happen to your cpu. It will fry beautifully. 4. You make a video about overclocking and yet you don't even dare to run any stress test because even you know that it's NOT unstable then why would you make this video man? Making other people misunderstand about overclocking and maybe cause them trouble.

Adaptive mode helps to find the fit voltage and in my opinion adaptive + offset is a very nice thing. In override its not realy better. At the end the cpu will just be stable if he get his voltage that he wants. And ring ratio yes, they can make problem, but i get luck and i reach 4,840mhz ring ratio

Hi, thanks for the video, I have a 8700K, looking for a video in 2020 about coffeelake OC I found this lol, a recomendation, try to OC with offset, the AVX ratio offset helps to check overlock stability when the system is running stress sw like Prime95, at this moment I'm using -2 with my 8700K, I get 4800mhz with a vcore of 1.23v , IMHO 1,367 its too high for 4,97 Ghz, cheers (excuse me my grammar, english is not main language)

I will do oc it but I wait a 1 week because i wait for my thermally conductive paste and I will clean my pc first time for 2 years. I have a question, I have this processor and also msi z370 sli plus mother board and my cooling is SilentiumPC Fortis3 140mm in SilentiumPC gladius m35w pure black. I should oc this processor for 4,7 or i should do less oc? Sorry for bad english I am teen and I am not the best in speaking.

Yes. You don't want your CPU to run at max OC all the time as that's very wasteful. Now if it runs at 1.8GHz while you are playing - that's another question.

Hi.. I have my with 4.9ghz but can't use ram 3200mhz every time I use XMP or Manual set rams to 3200mhz I get random crash in game. What ram you have and settings? I'll try your setting I have same board but mine it's z390.

I am not really sure how to answer this. I would recommend normal XMP and gameboost try it. If you have this option.

Please try watching the bios setup again just watch the video throughly and change all core to 4.7 or 4.8 should be very stable depend on cooler.

@@bigrexkarma430 no I do not have specific bios. You have to turn of intel enhance boost option. Or it will run low first then boost up to 4800 if this helps give video a like or sub nyaaa.

@@bigrexkarma430 turn of turbo mode. Set the setting to 48 all core. That should do it for you. You need a good cooler or else it will be too hot. I recommend All In one water cooling or heatsinc fan cooler.
