This 4 band puzzle ring instruction video from www.puzzlejewel... can be used to solve most 4 band puzzle rings. We have excluded band numbers so as to make the video as simple and as easy as possible to follow.
I've had a silver 4 band since 1991 that I bought in Guatemala. I undid it on the plane home... and for 25 years my ring sat unsolved in a jewelry box.. until last night. :) Thank you!
Thank you so much for your video. I have watched multiple and none of them explain it as well as you did. I am really happy at how you showed how every ring was supposed to look and if it didn't what to do to fix it. I couldn't get my moms ring back together and thanks to your video it no longer looks like a mess of rings.
Bless you! I came across my unassembled puzzle ring today and I guess being a retired Aerospace Engineer isn't smart enough to figure out the re-assembly procedure, LOL! The last two pieces were twisted, which you showed. Once put right the ring snapped right together just like I remembered it doing. Thank you again, the ring is on my finger and I'm smiling!😃😁😛
Thank you so much my dad has a puzzle ring and I took it apart and we could never get it back together, my dad passed away in Sept . And I swore I was gonna put it back and thanks to your video, I got it. Thank you so much.
This is about the 5th time over the last few years that I have needed this excellent tutorial in order to reassemble my puzzle ring. I can’t understand why some posters have been so rude. This is a really excellent video. Thanks so much 🤗
This worked for me, but only after I realized that MY bands cross in the other direction to form an X over the bands. I also had to reverse the order of slotting in the 2 "diamond" bands. Then it all worked beautifully. If it doesn't seem to fit, don't give up, just reverse the direction and the order in which you bring the last 2 bands down into place. Good luck! :D
I bought a puzzle ring last week and dropped it as soon as I got it home when it sprung apart. I couldn't put it together and neither could anyone else who said they once had a puzzle ring and knew how it went! Thank you so much for this video. I had to watch it several times but eventually cracked it - none of the other web sites were as clear as yours.
I've had this ring sitting around undone for about 15 years. I had to watch this video about 10 times, but finally got it! The other videos I watched were not as clear and concise as yours. Thanks so much!
I found one of my mom's puzzle rings a year after she passed. I put it on and wore it until I bent one of the bands on it while at work. She taught me years ago how to put one together. I still remembered how, but recently, I found that I couldn't because the bands weren't completely rounded (or could be my age showing...) but your directions helped me get it back together. Thank you for your concise directions and explanations! Hugs from across the pond!!!
I cannot thank you enough! My mom was given this kind of ring from my grandma, I think a week before she passed away a month ago in November, and she still couldn’t solve it (it’s currently December 25). I watched other videos on how to solve it, I couldn’t solve it for more than an hour. None of the videos but this one explained other situations (one I was struggling with while solving the ring). I finally solved it, this video was perfect!
Thanks for this very well made instruction video. I had my first "Turkish wedding band" as a gift in the '70's. I learned it well enough that I could assemble it over and over without looking (probably a nervous coping mechanism?). Eventually I wore through the bands and followed suit with more complex ones, wearing them out. Not sure we're or when I misplaced the last one -- but my husband found it in the wash this morning! (I found his wedding ring years ago after being lost in a gardening bed!) Almost got it put together in the dark while watching your video, but I'll wait until the light is out. Oh, Happy Solstice -- I think this brought us luck!
Followed the video with a few rewinds needed. I DID IT!!! Thanks for the great instructions detailing both the correct and incorrect placement of the bands.
Thank you very much for helping me solve the puzzle ring. I watched your video several times, with pauses at key points. I finally got my club fingers to work well enough to reassemble the ring, once again thank you.
I watched several different videos of people putting these together. My eldest son bought one years ago but could never get it back together. My middle son is good at puzzles but wasn't able to help since he is away for another 9 months. I sat here looking at videos... and tried all the different ways but none would actually go together correctly... UNTIL YOUR VIDEO! THANK YOU! I have been sitting here for hours trying to get it back together. My OCD wouldn't let me go to bed. It's now 2:26am, I started at noon yesterday!!! I saw your video around 2am and had to watch it a couple times but knew it was the right one when the first time through I was able to form the 8 across the bottom! So I kept at it because of your explanation. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I watch five other videos and yours was the one!! I have been trying for a year now to put this ring back together!! Thank you!! my husband inherited a ring from his grandpa and had tape on it. He took it off and didn’t realize it was keeping the ring together.😂 we’ve all tried for a long time now to put it back together.
SO Helpful! I had to put my puzzle ring together in the opposite direction. To get the X shape I had to place the piece with the groove on the left side and to finally put it together I had to start on the left side. Try that if it doesn't work!
Decent video, unfortunately did not work for my 4 band puzzle ring. The one I'm trying to reassemble is much thinner with large gaps between the bands, so it doesn't fit so nicely, and it is not possible to make the middle bands form a nice "X" inside the bands that form the diamond. Thank you for helping me at least understand these rings better, it just seems that mine isn't possible.
I'v had an original Jose` 4 band puzzle ring, and it takes only a few seconds to put together. When I remove this Uctuk version, I need to be very careful it doesn't fall apart, which mine usually does do, and it often takes me 10 min or more to get it back together. Pretty, but it makes me want to return it at least once a month!
Great instructional video. My friend asked me to fix his, I said 'wait a minute--youtube will have something'. Sure enough! I had to try it three times before I got it; first two times I dropped it! Third time I had to do the 'over top/turn clockwise' thing. After I did it once, I broke it apart two more times, assembled in about one minute both times.
Thank you!! My mother had one unsolved for 40+ years, she recently passed, when my sister were going thru her things I said I wanted the ring because since the advent of you tube I would be able to solve the puzzle. Thanks to your vid I HAVE!!!
Simplest explanation of a puzzle ring! And great explanation with clear video walking you threw what to do when it does not fit together right the first time. Thanks
thank you so much I just found my puzzle ring that I had gotten for Christmas one year that I stupidly pulled apart the second I got it Lol and the top band is broken from me trying and getting frustrated at it when I couldn't put it together well anyways the good thing is after two years of not remembering it it has finally gotten put together
You explained the solution --"diamond" and "X-shape"-- exactly as I explained it to a girl I gifted a 4-band puzzle ring to. She was able to catch on really quickly that way.
At last, I got it back together. I needed the detailed, careful instruction. Way better than the written instruction I got with my ring. It will live in a jewelry case between times that I wear it!
Thank you so much for your video, I watch it every time my puzzle ring breaks down and find it easier from one time to the other. I hope one day I manage do do it without your help ;)
thank you! My Aunt passed away and had this ring,,,, of course it was apart when I received it,, I saw a few veidos but still could not put it together till I found yours! Again Thank you!
Thank You!!! I watched so much videos trying to solve this puzzle ring and you are the only one who got me close, let alone got me to solving this! Thank you!
Thank you so much! I have one from the 70's (!) that I couldn't remember how to put together!!! Watched your tutorial and..voila!!! It's back! (I was sure that I could do it just intuitively , even after so many years... but didn't manage without this
Thank you so much for this careful and thorough explanation of how to put together this ring. We found one among my mom's things after she passed away and it's mean a great deal to my daughter to now be able to wear it.
Thank you so so much! I have my mother’s puzzle ring fallen apart since ages that I kept. Now that I retired, and without your perfectly explained demonstration, I wouldn’t have had it back without your help. Happy New Year 2018!
Perfect! The instructional video is the best by far. I have watched a handful or more of other videos but couldn't really follow them quite as easily as following your video. Thank you!
I've owned an 8 piece ring for 45 years, I got an oversized 4 piece one to share with the grandkids... then came the brain fart, so I cheated. this is the best, got the clue I needed. thankyou!
OMG!!! Your video is the BEST of all of the videos I came across and tried!!! Thank you sooooooooooooooo much!!! (I cannot believe that I got it together, and it is only due to YOU!!!) Thank you again!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉
My sister asked me to put her 4 piece puzzle ring back together . After watching several other videos - I found yours ! Wow so clearly focused and precise instructions . Thank you so much ! You deserve a 5 Star rating ! ! !
Thanks so much for the video! I have a tricky question guys... I've been assembling my ring a few times and though it looks right, when you carefully look at it and wear it you can feel it's not quiet right... Like the rings are not fitting properly into a nice soft touch. I think maybe, in some of my tries I twist it and run one of them inside of another and so and so... You think that is possible? Thanks a lot in advance for any help!
thank you! This is the BEST for solving the puzzle ring! After watching this video a couple of times, I did it!!! My boyfriend said that if I put it back together he would marry me.... but apparently that was a lie after I put it together.
I am having trouble getting the 4th band to lay down with the rest of them. I believe I am doing everything correctly but is there anyone who can help me on this? The 4th band is just locking up. Thanks.
Doesn't work, the only way I get an x, the two sets of rings do not line up on the same plane, but perpendicular to each other :/ I finally just threw the damned thing across the room.
