Thanks for your insights on this. Great video. Regarding the oil free moisturiser, would you apply that throughout the day or just once in the morning? Thanks

Great video as always Ben. After blade shaving my head for more than a decade, I recently switched to a 00000 blade on oster 76 clippers. It’s a decent change...a lot less shiny and I can get away with doing it every 3 days.
Ty Help me a lot thank you so much I was looking for something to stop the shot on my head I don't like it to be so oily or dried out thank you God-bless you
Hey Ben! I know you have a military background, and I can’t find any good guides out there, so I was wondering: would you or any of the other alliance members be willing to do a video on the military regulation mustache? I’m currently growing mine out now, and a little guidance would be great. Thank you in advance!
We'll let Ben chime in when he's ready, but this guide might be a good place to start. Eric shares good insight on how to grow and maintain an awesome mustache. 🤘-Sly ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1eQ9xJN7hq4.html
I use Magic Shave Cream. I let sit for about 15 minutes, and then get in the shower to wash it off. When I wash it off, I use either a washcloth or most of the time, a body sponge. I never use a razor on my head nor face. Of course, I don't let my hair grow out so much, that it will clog up my drain. I've been doing this since 1990.
@@BeardbrandAlliance well I'm going to try the mattifying lotion. Also using the shampoo was a nice tip I didn't know, always used the soap I use to shower. Thanks a lot.
Witch hazel works well to reduce shine, but don't use it immediately after you shave. My hitlist for a great head shave; I use Gillette razors with HeadSlick cream. Propermale's head shave towel work well too, especially for irritation.
eBay in UK selling pitbull gold headshavers for £69 , with extra blade and travel case. Usually they’re about £120 without the extra blade and case. Best head shaver I’ve used.
Why you want a shine free head? I actually buff my head with a wet towel, then a dry towel as hard as I can so I can make my head as shiny as possible.
After your video, I want to try this out. For me as a long-haired white man, I hope that this works for me as it does for you. Nice Greetings from Germany
You gotta be kidding me. All the hours I’ve spent shining my head every day with all kinds of oils and waxes and you tell me that’s NOT the thing to do?! Gtfoh yo. Shine on!!!
well, tip number one is less effective for white guys since the contrast of skin to hair is too strong and for me, shaving with clippers just makes me look like I haven’t razor shaved for 3 days, it just doesn’t look clean, so I have to go with a razor. Still, great video though with great tips, keep it up!
have you noticed any fading from using it? Just wondering cause I was about to buy it and I see there is alcohol in it which now has me weary. and do you use the neotrogena wipes to remove?
If you use clippers then you're not bald, there's still hair. The term going bald exists for a reason, you're not there yet because there's still hair.
i shaved my head bald september 30 of 2022 due to trich and i have a lot of videos about my journey on my channel. best decision ever, i'm so glad i did it. it was liberating and empowering. life changing.
First... your lighting looks like devil horns. Second... If you have greasy/oily skin (which is what the shine is) then nothing works other than using a wipe every now and then, carry wipes with you and use them, get into the habit of reaching for a wipe. It actually feels good as well and keeps you clean.
Mine is shiny and oily. I do get a lot of compliments. The excess oil can be a pain at times personally speaking. But overall I’m pleased. I highly recommend shaving your head. Feels great.
