Hi, thank you very much this was one of the better videos I've seen for Hamstring tightness. Should you be doing it before you go and play sports or after only? I guess I am asking if doing it before sports will make it feel too tender to play sports? Or it doesnt matter ultimately?
thank you. jefferson curls scare me!!! LOL. Any time I do a bent back/straight leg hamstring stretch I get a pinching feeling in my low back a little later. It feels OK whilst doing it but it flares up later.
Good stuff. I go for a weekly massage and that helps. As well as acupuncture for 8 years. I saw a MD specialist and I am on a muscle relaxant and if no results, then BOTOX. Tight hamstrings is a medical condition for me. My gait is bad because of it. Got worse after my heart attack in 2019 which was hereditary. Had emergency surgery and NO heart damage. I am 155 lbs and healthy for 58 and exercise daily and eat well and keep hydrated.
I want so bad to make these foam rollers work for me. I've been trying. I find it difficult to balance and hold my weight up and it gets sloppy. I have tight hamstrings and also thigh and glute/hip pain to which my last PT pointed out I have lumpy painful fascia tissue due to adhesions that spread from my tailbone from several surgeries with a pretty long, painful scar causing hip/leg fascia/muscle pain. The last surgery being two 1/2 years ago. They were cupping and using Graston technique which didn't help. Suggestions? Thanks ahead.
I had acl surgery and they use my hamstring graft now my knee i think its ok i hvent been training on it but recently i just decided i want to play football again but my hamstring feels like its gonna tear if i quickly pull my foot to the back while standing (like kicking motion) does it mean its tight? Cos i feel like its connected to the nerve or something when i try to use the ball method on it.. hope u reply this

For the last 8 weeks or so I have had a very tight right hamstring… I train in aerial and am trying to get into splits, along with lifting heavier for leg strength… I tried to do a 6 week split challenge stretching everyday and I think I overstretched… the part of my hamstring right behind my right leg ( which used to be theist flexible) is now like glue and super painful… I’ve regressed about 3-4 inches backwards… any tips?

I hurt my hamstrings by raising my bed up ontoo milk crates,cause the bars were not good.the bars that hold the box for the bed.now i cant sit in a chair too play a game or watch tv.im 63 yrs old.
