@@MrRapmaster19 he took two jumpshots in the 2nd half the rest of his shots were layups while they were down 30, I wouldn't count that as figuring it out especially cus the Celtics didn't even play good defense last night and just kept shooting and doing whatever at a certain point
Mikal’s change in form is due to Thibbs. He did the samething to Kemba Walker when he came to the Knicks. You can’t just abruptly change someone’s shooting form when they’ve been doing it the same way their entire life.
Yeah but you also are ignoring context. He didn’t make a single shot in that first half when the lead grew. He makes his shots in the first half maybe they are in the game
Lots of people are saying Mikal changed his jumper because of an injury in the shoulder but I don't think it'd have THAT big of an impact like it did on fultz. Changing your Bread and Butter because of an Injury doesn't seem right in Mikal's situation.
T-wolves will fix turnover issues as the season continues. It got better toward the post season last season. As the new guys gel into the line up less turnovers will happen.
they lost their size advantage and 2 bigs stretching the floor which gave Edwards more space. Randle plays wild and dumb at times and is only 6'9. Kat Gobert and Naz Reid was their advantage
The team as constructed only got together like 3 weeks ago. They barely have any runtime together, no one expected them to start off like a fluid team off the bat. Judge them in january, but not now
The team still needs time to gel. Their offseason game planning probably all revolved around Randle and DiVincenzo. KAT looked a little lost out there, even if he shot decently, Brunson played a bit too much iso. They’ll figure it out, it’s game 1
Celtics three point shooting was unstoppable so anyone would of lost to that..but is an issue especially since wing D was supposed to be a Knicks strength
Then how can people say he’s not a good coach / isn’t ready before he ever coached a game ? Can’t have your cake and eat it too. Can’t be mad at people applauding him after one hand when people were hating before one game
These people are so inconsistent. First, they criticized Reddick as a bad coach even before the preseason, and then after the first game, they said you can't judge a coach based on just one game. They need to make up their minds.
@@vedendumogho6996not really lmao. People said JJ had zero coaching experience at any level and based on what I’ve seen from his condescendingly-named podcast “Mind the game”…….he’s not that intelligent about hoops. He’s LeBron’s podcast buddy and a Klutch hype man. The Lakers win 1 damn game and people aren’t going to change their mind about all of those other red flags and call him a good coach. This isn’t a “People are being inconsistent” scenario when you don’t dumb it down and actually look at the entire situation.
Please share where you got your doctorate in basketball . Or at least what team did you play for to qualify your opinion on someone’s basketball intelligence
Maybe the Final play in spot. But doubt it. You idiots are just like delusional Cowboys fans. 1 game n every year they say they going to the superbowl. Lakers stink, get real bruh!!!!!!
The difference between last season was stark enough to tell he's a good coach. Will he be a great one? That's the real question, and time will tell on that.
It’s a single game dude. Both the Knicks and T-Wolves have barely had any time to gel and game plan with their new cores, both will figure it out. Celtics and Lakers will also fall back down to earth. Celtics will still be dominant, but the Lakers are a play-in team and making judgements on Redick is so premature.
@@bandito241 he missed a ton of the season last year and they did just fine. The problem is figuring out randles fit when he was out there the spacing was atrocious
Knicks Just Got Unlucky Playing The Champs In Debut Game. The Lakers Played Good , But Still Think If They Wanna Compete Trade For Trae Young. The Wolves Will Miss Kat
I will not call that unlucky. but a test, it is a good test for the team that has a new roster if they can play very well against the defending champions
Randle plus that Pistons' 1st rnd pick will be traded ASAP. Timberwolves need a high basketball IQ decision-maker at the PG position BADLY... Conley won't play 50 games this season and Dillingham's body needs 10-15 lbs of muscle mass.
@@Nomad7222you guys act like everyone wasn’t torching this dude the whole playoffs finals and Olympics. 😂 now that he’s playing good all you haters are hiding. I guarantee if he played bad last night your comment would be different 😂
I think he's just choosing to take a back seat they don't necessarily need him to exert himself if they are winning already and he's more focused on the post season imo
