4 Cats Polymer Clay Christmas Ornament Tutorial 

My house is not fancy but it is far from the road and very quiet. My only battle is with those darn carpenter bees that are drilling holes into my cedar siding.

@@SimplyOrnamentsbyMaria It seems that there is always something that keeps attacking homes. I live in Mesquite TX, with clay like soil when the land dries out it contracts; slap foundations shift and eventually crack. Two years ago a terrible hail storm hit took out two of our vehicles, the siding on the house and detached garage. If it is not one thing it is another. In less than three two years we will be at retirement age and fixed income. When they made the saying that "Getting old is not for the weak" was true.

I love cats and dogs! Life would not be the same without them. If you have a garlic press with small holes, try using that to make the long hair for the Persians.

thank you Deb! If you purchased a package of white ORIGINAL Sculpey, use it only to practice. It is very brittle and breaks easily after baking.

@@SimplyOrnamentsbyMaria you just go to the home screen on facebook, not your profile but the one you see when you get on, then to the left if you scroll down you will see EXPLORE just click on GROUPS then on that page at the top is your name and then home and then Create, just click that and you can create your group. I would be very happy to help if you ever need it. I am so excited and I am sure many would love it :)

I don't have a video about me but I am working on one to show my years working with clay. My name is Maria Maestri. My sister's name was Anne.

I use Super Sculpey and Sculpey III. With my arthritis I need to use a softer clay. I do condition the clay before I use it which softens it and makes it more pliable. I use my pasta machine to do this.

I find that the sculpty clay is the easiest to work with, but I just also bought the least expensive clay at Michaels (might have been their brand) and it was also nice and soft. Good luck.

Just read she responded to same question. Sculpty and sculpty III....she uses a pasta machine to condition clay to make it even softer.
