It’s amazing how he can name the band members and the names of the bands Cliff played in that never made it anywhere. So many parents would blow that kind of thing off, but Ray, he really knew his son. Not only because of the fact Cliff was his son, but also because he viewed Cliff as a separate individual worth getting to know. This is an extremely special man.
I don't think I or many other people could lose not one but 2 children under 25yo and barely a decade apart from eachother but still have such a sunny disposition. RIP to them all and Ray was a real gem of a human being.
So what we're saying here is, the show _Barney Miller_ had a big impact on the developmental history of Metallica. How completely out of left field is that?
