Over the course of four adventure-filled days I tackle a new environment - the tropical islands of The Florida Everglades. My girlfriend Sarah and I have to learn, adapt, and conquer everything thrown at us. We catch and cook fish species I've never even seen before, fight the heat and sand, kayak over the untamed chop of the Atlantic Ocean, and fend off wild raccoons from stealing our limited water supply - all while keeping an eye out for the ever present threat of sharks and alligators.

I’m sorry I came to this channel to see Zack do bush craft and survival not the luxury life I’m glad that he has a luxury life and I’m glad that he has somebody to share it with but the reason Zach totally started this channel is the show everybody how to survive not how to live it up sorry this is not what I said up for if anyone is in here he same boat let MR Zack know I’m sorry ZACK I have been A follower for years now and I have bought plenty of your product because I believe in you but how can I buy any more product or can anybody else buy any more product if you continue to go down this luxury life you prove to the world that you are worthy as an airborne infantry army soldier I looked up to you but now you’re just becoming another RU-vidr and I don’t want to say that I want somebody to have an impact on my life not somebody to make money

I'm a local down here in Miami and the Everglades. Be super careful when walking to the edge of the water at night. Alligators will hang at the edge of the water to grab anything that comes to the edge. Be super careful those areas are infested with alligators. They are expert at camouflage you won't expect to see them on top but they are under the water looking at you

@@mmiadragonz that's exactly what I was thinking, I grew up in the Okefenokee and it's the same deal. One more thing, being out in the bay without a PFD in a kayak is a major no-no.

Awesome video Zach! I live over in Cape Coral and I love everything about our wild Florida. BTW the catfish that you were catching are very edible and delicious if you do a quick pan fry on them. You can use the slime off of the catfish to ease some of the pain from the sting you got. It works better than any medicine.

As a Florida native who frequents the Everglades, I used to canoe and paddle board to the islands, but I take the boat nowadays. It definitely takes some skill to navigate those mangroves, it's called 10,000 islands for a reason. I was happy to hear you guys wanted to go to tiger key, since that is my favorite island and the one I always choose to stay at if I can. I hope y'all had a great time and didn't mind the bugs too much. I also hope you managed to catch a snook, definitely the best eating fish! Those coons will get you though, they will literally walk right next to you and grab something sitting right next to you. They are not scared of humans.

Those ladyfish are sometimes called poor man’s tarpon because of their acrobatic jumps. I must say I’ve never really heard of people eating them, but I guess your palate is probably pretty adventurous after some of the stuff you eat! Ha! It was fun to see you in a new environment-especially one that I personally love. And you for sure had the right kayaks for what you did! No better choice than the Outback or Revo.
