Oh, Jessica, I am a senior(Diane) that People can't believe and I do like nakeup. Again, this eye shadow on you today is beautiful on you and wish I could do but at my age , I go lightly but on you it's sensational. My favorite foundation is "Believe" from dollar general and the other items have been drugstore. Since watching you I've become a dollar diva. I love your channel, no music so we can hear you clearly and love watching you apply and appreciate your time and being honest with us with the different DT cosmetics. Thank you❤
Wish list: marker lip stain, colorful LA Colors eye *marker* liners, a matte bronzer in a shade lighter, and both light & deep peach powder from whoever makes the banana one lol! And skincare type products from la mercerie, that setting spray is my favorite vs even high end- it’s so moisturizing but it leaves a natural finish & lasts all day!
Hey Jessica I think if La Colors would make mini’s of their foundation usually found at Dollar General it would fly off the shelves. I think it’s called truly matte about 5 dollars and it has a decent amount of shades. I think it went viral a few years ago. Why can’t they have the same quality at dollar tree 😩. I walked into a pretty nice Dollar Tree I’ve never been too and found Le Mercerie foundation with a bunch of different shades I couldn’t believe it. I was so excited. I purchased a couple of them. They are pretty small and travel friendly and more like a skin tint but I really do like it for a quick and easy light makeup day. I’m going back to get more. And taking one on a weekend trip I have coming up soon. Love the blue eyeshadow look 💗

The frustrating thing is that we do get deep shades of complexion product from b pur & la colors here, but they are sending way more than our area can buy - we’re only 10% POC - up 4% since last census so woooooo but still not a big # - and we are heavily German, Scandinavian & Irish here (huge numbers of early-mid 1900s immigrants), and it’s great to finally see products for the medium & deep toned, but why aren’t they sending more to the populated parts of the US and less to eastern Montana? It’s like they don’t even look at our data, they just throw stuff in boxes. Sometimes we ONLY get deep shades of products and they go unbought when other cities would snap them up! Sometimes I suspect we just get whatever didn’t sell at some random store on the coast 😂
That’s where all the darker shades are going? Lol! They probably dont give it much thought as to where they send certain products. It seems to have no rhyme or reason at times 😔
Ioni has a colorful brow pallette, it's got pink and purple and I can't remember the other 2 shades in it and I'm to lazy to go look in my drawer, but I've actually used them as shadows and they're pretty good. I bought it just because I was going to dye my hair pink and needed that for my brows but ended up dying it neon yellow 😂
Ok I have to know, are your brows neon yellow? Do u do it every day or is it a special look? I’ve done a few bold colors but I have verrrry dark & thick brows so I just leave em be…but I’m very curious lol

I'd love to see a couple of things I miss that Maybelline always offered - eyebrow powder and powder eyeliner. Now that I'm older with really sparse brows, the powder's best for creating a natural look. And with hard contact lenses, the powder liner (applied with a moistened brush) is easy to apply neatly with no pressure.
Btw, mehron mixing medium makes great eyeliner out of eyeshadow. I think the ingredient that was probably already in the powder liner is mixed with water & alcohol to make mehron. It really holds & I haven’t had any eye sensitivity with it except for when I tried to use it when it was -30 & my skin just couldn’t handle ANY alcohol. But normally I have no issues!
I want a loose setting powder along the lines of the ELF HD powder. I would be over the moon! BTW, are you wearing that new blue mascara? It looks great! It's an interesting effect.

Ioni is owned by Jon Davler Inc which is a cosmetics manufacturing company that specializes in private label, with their manufacturing expertise being liquid emulsions & bullet lipstick. The ioni website focuses on the lashes. So it’s wild that they make these great products but it must be somebody at the top doing a pet project or something… Ewwwww…the jon davler company was sued in 2010 or so for a very gross labor violation. Can’t even type it. Very bizarre company omg… but they have a new CEO since the ick years.
