Because this is (together with the Behringer DeepMind 6) the most affordable and most versatile Analog Synthesizer you can get for under 700 bucks. Especially a polyphonic one. You can make it sound fat , thin, warm, cold, smooth, harsh and anywhere in between. It's really a chimera among the Analog Synths and one of the finest new instruments you can get. But you have to be in dialog with it and listen to what your Instrument tells you. It will tell you exactly how it wants to sound and how it will reveal one by one how it CAN sound. This really is a synthesizer you fall in love with once you start using it.
