If you are alone just make sure you are able to cope with that. You don’t want to make it all cozy because that is your niche. Just go with the flow.

This is kinda off topic but my fav song rn is Flux by Poppy and the meaning is essentially just saying that the way to life is to just go with the flow because that's what being in flux means. "I feel like I’m always in flux. I feel like I’ll always be bending in such a way, moving and changing. I think of a rubbery kind of dancing man when I think of flux. I see it as a positive, absolutely. It’s the exploring of the unknown, and being willing to accept the uncertainty." Sometimes I like to pretend I'm a big body of water and that I'll never stop learning, loving, challenging myself because like water -- it never stops flowing. Let's not make ourselves obey time by getting stuck in the past or worry about the future and instead free ourselves by focusing on the now :)

Oh yes, exercise is essential for artists! And yes, I went through Nov through Dec without a day off. Success is great, yet one woman businesses can’t always predict what product will take off and how much to pre stock. January has to be recovery. ❤

Journaling really is useful! I fluctuate between a set routine and it going completely off the rails, so it's trying to find an un-balanced balance where one month is more heavy on studying and another month is more heavy on exercising. Things like that really help. Your videos are always so soothing to watch! Glad you get to make them and that you're resting after that heavy workload

You should make a memo with the 3 things you’re grateful for, 3 things that would make the day great and 1 positive affirmation. If you don’t I will!😂 your business is very inspiring

”Work out of love, not fear.” It really hit me, because as an artist, you often feel the need to push and push to achieve something. But actually you chose your art because of love, and you should keep doing it because of love. It’s not easy, but I think you touched some important points of being a self-employed artist. Very intelligent thought process, introspective, methodical, and I love your clay art. I’m an entrepreneur myself, web design & dev these days, but when I was younger I had a side hustle doing what you are doing. Was considering getting back into it, though. You will be fine, and you are absolutely correct, find a sustainable pace. I’m nearly 15 years into it now, and it’s by far the most important thing. Good for you, though. Im a subscriber, and I fully appreciate your open and honest approach. It’s nice to see people doing what they enjoy, and yes I understand all about commercializing art. It’s difficult, but it very possible, especially in modern times. Keep up the good work kiddo! I can’t wait to see the empire you are going to establish! I have several journalling notebooks, some empty and some messy but I haven't really journalled anything in a long time. The journalling technique you shared is a good way to get me started with using my journal notebooks again! You're a very cool person!

I would love to order something, but I don't want to add stress to you. I wouldn't mind waiting two or three months to receive it. Do them whenever you're comfortable. Maybe you should have that as an option. Have a wonderful 2023. I love your well thought out content.

I think you´re a great example of how important the artist is behind their work and the story behind it, what it tells, what message it gives, what it makes you feel as the person who buys the art...there is a lot of cute stuff out there, beautiful handmade figures aso., but they wouldn´t give you the same without that meaning and story behind...so this is what makes art truly valuable...btw I think you look better without the makeup! :) And also, I feel like you reminded me on how important it is to make ourselves feeling comfortable, my life feels like a mess and I often forgot to care more about myself. This may sound weird, but I’m trying to heal right now, and I hope you understand. ❤ I’m 49 and I’m in a very intent time of healing things I didn’t realize I was carrying, due to my childhood trauma of being born into a cult. It’s not been easy, and much of it is because I’m undersocialized, I’ve been shunned by my former religion. I didn’t got to high school, or college, and I live alone. I had a few years where I was so depressed, I spiraled. Now, I’m trying to embrace investing in being creative for the first time in my life! I wasn’t allowed as a child, and even at school I didn’t do big art projects as much as other students, because they were usually holiday related. I didn’t realize how much it can really help with anxiety, and bring so much joy I never thought of before. I’ve always had so much guilt, and self hate, and I was given no life skills, as a girl, and then shunned at 26. Now that I have the space and time, I want to explore so many things I’ve never even thought of before! You are so sweet, and genuine, and kind hearted! I’m not trying to be fake when I say that this is the advice my inner child needed to hear. I wish someone had given me this advice as a younger person. Thank you for showing us how to do this. It’s not silly! And you saying you love your body because it’s how you experience life is healthy self-love. We need to see more of that online!! ❤❤
