in life, the mundane gets forgotten, usual days blend into another and we don't remember them, we only remember the unusual days where we did thing different or good/bad things happen. This is why is if you want to feel like you lived a long life you need to create a lot of memories where days went different than expected. Even taking a different route to work will make the day more memorable, especially if you find new beautiful places. Or grocery shopping, it is good to sometimes go to different places than the usual because you meet new people.

I was listening to a podcast that said, “it’s important to live life by design rather than emotion. Basically, sticking to a routine is what allows us to be the healthiest version of ourselves. And part of that is routinely putting in work on your dreams and projects despite how you’re feeling! Watching you do that with this business has been wonderful. I’ve felt doubtful about my RU-vid channel since the start but I try to keep going through the feelings of doubts because I know you’re out their doing the same trying to take care of yourself while figuring out the work part!!

I've always been an artist and wanted to sell my art (I make clay but also little cat paintings) but growing up I was kind of always told I needed to just do college and have a "real" job, but I always dream of being able to make a living by creating cute things and selling them to people who loved them and spreading joy but always shut myself down. I've been watching videos from you and a few other small business owners and yall have inspired me to start selling my art instead of just painting and packing it up into boxes or giving stuff away. My job is not something that has any roomfor growth and I will regret it if I don't try to open my own shop, even if it fails, so THANKS for the inspiration!

True, I feel like school and society really demand that you must go to college and work in "9-5 career" or else you will not succeed in life. However, I'm glad to see that the past few years, more and more people are realizing that you can become successful and build up a career on your own. And that your dreams can become a reality.

Hi Tammy:) I love your video diaries and find them really relaxing ❤ I love the idea of watching the sunrise over a beautiful city.. which city is it you describe? I guess it's worth getting up extra early to see the sunrise (even if it means less time sleeping) to "feed the soul" before focusing on work. So often we get caught up in the pressures of daily life so making time for yourself is so important ❤

I live just outside the view of denver too, and I've been thinking what spots I can catch a sunrise from. It's life-giving to do the hard or uncomfortable thing (sometimes that means waking up way too early!) Usually quite worth it 🥰
