@@ShibaHere Honestly the Rain World experience. Everyone spends the first 5 hours dying until they finally hone whatever primal instict it is that's required to not die to lizards
I think it was because I was in crouch state and it made me throw it to the floor Iirc I jumped tho but it didnt let me for some reason Legitimate Nat 1 dex roll
@@kazuhiroshikade Jumping while crouched won't make you stand up. You will pop up slightly but then remain crouched. You actually need to push up to stand up. The movement can be awkward at first but really interesting once you learn more about it.
It's kinda funny how much more difficult the game becomes with 4 people if everyone needs to survive, but definitely if there's someone good they can try to watch over everyone.
I hope someone mods in unlimited playerslots. Perhaps it would cause a Certain "irishman" may play it? Either way having more than 4 would be even funnier.
Uh i don't know what the name of the mod is called but I've seen a video called downpour waiting room and in it for a part of they played a custom game mode called vip escort where 1 team fights to escorted someone and the other trys to kill em with way more then 4 people so there is already a mod for more then 4 people already (even seen a few coop videos with the occasional 5th player)
@@chasewood1562 the only more than 4 player coop i know is monkland but it doesnt really work well with creatures (thats why most videos with monkland dont usually include any creatures at all)
The implication that you would have to hide his name indicates a Rowling character, but in truth he is actually quite the youtube person! Language is great.
There is absolutely a mod for this! It's called Myriad of Slugcats, and let's 16 people play together! (still limited to Local though, so Steam Remote Play/Parsec is required for playing with people who aren't on the same PC)
I wonder what would happen in other areas. This is already so chaotic 🤣🤣 You guys should have someone play the chubby cat, imagine someone accidentally falling and kills whoever below
today on rain world: reddit child, red nightmare creature, the polar bear from the snowstorm, and swamp abomination attempt to evade the local wildlife
you can force hibernate by holding the down key in a shelter if you dont have enough food to hibernate (this will cause starvation, making your overall stats weakened and the game much harder. hibernate with full health in one day during starvation to cure or die.)
Jolly Co-op, it's part of the downpour DLC. It's local though, if you're looking for online co-op try Rain Meadow (it's still a work in progress though)
How do you play co op? I’ve like done all my settings, me and my friend are in the same room, we both have it enabled, I’ve tried sending her steam remote play invites, etc etc. but I just don’t know how to actually get her in the game with me and can’t find any guides or info on it and I’ve never done anything like this before so I’m super lost. Could you tell me?
When you're on the difficulty selection screen there should be a jolly co-op option on the top right, you gotta pull the circle above the player names to how many players you want
@@ShibaHere yeah like I’ve done that but how do we actually go into the game together? When I spawn in it’s just an unmoving bot with me and not another player, same goes for when she tried to do it
@@ShibaHere ok ok I’ll give a list of the things I’ve done/tried if that’s ok. Sorry if this is annoying but I can’t find any other info on how to do it so ur my best bet :’) - go to remix, enable jolly co op - go to my survivor on the slugcat selection screen, click the jolly co op options in the corner where the custom colours usually are - kept most of the stuff the same on the first page that pops up, customised player 1 to look like my desired slugcat (blue, survivor, adult), customised player 2 to look like my pal’s desired slugcat (green, monk, pup) and gave them our names - changed player 1’s keyboard settings to my own controls, changed player 2’s keyboard settings to my friend’s controls - read all the lil manuals and whatnot, made sure I did everything - loaded my game as the survivor (currently in industrial complex on cycle 20something) - was my survivor in my den with all my stuff but my friend wasn’t in the game and instead I just had a bot slugpup who I could interact with (like hold their hand n stuff) but they weren’t another player - friend tried the same stuff and the same thing happened for her, she was her slugcat but player 2 was just kind of a bot We tried pressing the continue button at the same time, both making sure our jolly co op settings were exactly the same, and pretty much everything I could think of. I just don’t know how to actually invite her into the game or if I have to do that or what I’m doing wrong. I think all I’m messing up is the inviting thing but I’ve never had to use the steam overlay stuff before and idk if there’s like another way to do it soo,, idk I’m trying my best with my 2 braincells lol
@@ocomolinaehain1795 yup, it's because lizards use something called "territorial bites" which are non lethal to other lizards and is mostly just a way to tell them to piss off, green lizards don't pull any punches and go for kill shots against anything that wants to fuck around.
