Kostic is 31 and looks old on the field while Gonzales is 26 years old and in his prime. Kostic was on the downhill when Juve brought him in and that was prior to him being 30. Juventus made a lot of bad transfers , those guys don’t magically get valuable just bc we overpaid them, it’s actually the opposite that is true and what you are seeing play out now.

@@Emm46 that is exactly my point, he was at his peak in his late 20s heading into his 30s (downfall). He looks very old now, wingers can age very fast when they lose their pace. His value was only ever going to go down when Juventus brought him in and that’s exactly what happened. If we sell Nico Gonzales in his 30s we will get much less than what he cost now at 26, that’s how transfers works for the most part 🤷‍♂️

At this point in time, Gonzalez is definitely better than Soule. In the future, no. In my opinion Juve should have kept Soule and Chiesa

Overrating Soule. He might become great but he's not right now

I think time will tell us if Soule will be what we think he could’ve been. I think he’s too much of a one trick pony cutting in on his left foot. I like players with more balance. Gonzalez is better and more established at this point in time so he costs more and Concencao is about the same as Soule but already has shown skill at top level in the Euros so he should cost a bit more. To me it’s a good bet and more secure than a promise. I like the deals.

He is very good , really strong guy i have seen few fiorentina matches , he is decisive in final third of the pitch and really good when pressing .

“Was not able to properly judge Allegri.” He was really bad at the end and needed to go. His tactics / ideology is very outdated and he has a terrible record when it comes to developing young players. The club shouldn’t have fired him when they did the first time and they shouldn’t have hired him back when they did (doubling down on their original mistake) is how I view his time at Juve. He did some good in his first go around with the club, not so much his second time around.

@aaronlevi1516 Was it Allegri's fault we had -15 pts and the whole drama that happened? Was it Allegri's fault the entire management changed during the season? Was it Allegri's fault Pogba and Fagioli were not available? Was it Allegri's fault we had no money for mercato? I'm not defending Allegri as he had his share of the blame, but he took the blame for things that were not his own fault, and it's impossible to know if he would really have done better. That's my whole point. I don't want at the end of the season anyone to have a "but it's not Motta's fault...." or "Giuntoli should have ....". I want to get all our targets, even if they missed preseason, so that the team is set to compete for its objectives. And at the end of the season, we can comfortably make our judgment without any ifs or buts.

His value in our books (transfer fee - amortisation over the years) is currently around 14 mln. If we sell him below that figure, it will mean capital lost in our books, which is called “minusvalenza” (opposite to plusvalenza, which is when you gain capital)

@@simpleman7203 Imagine him as an asset worth 14 mln. If you sell him for less than that, let’s say 12 mln, you virtually lose 2 mln. You “get rid of” 14 mln (in player’s value) for 12 mln in cash.

Chiesa is washed and it has been very clear that Motta wanted nothing to do with Chiesa since he arrived and he doesn’t even have other wingers to choose from. Chiesa isn’t an elite player anymore and hasn’t been so for a long time. He is an injury prone player very reliant on his athleticism to make plays , he will age very poorly as a player and he already feels like he is well past his prime.
