I constructed a 4" wall of my house in Lahore and kept/put iron-rods at a certain height to avoid cracks in the wall. Additionally, I keep/put two iron-rods parallel on all 9" wide walls at a level of about 7' height to avoid cracks in the walls. 4" wide walls are very dangerous in high rector scale earthquakes and high floods when this size of walls do not seem to withstand in these above natural calamity situations. I shall soon start construction of a 5-Marla house in Lahore Smart City, where I shall construct all boundary walls of the house of a width of 13" with high strength of sand and cement mortar. The area of this new city is flood affected.I have witnessed high floods here in 1987 or 1988, when houses were demolishing with speedy water of floods. This flood water disallowed me to travel from my abode of Dist. Gujranwala to Lahore for continuously three days as a consequence of which I had to miss Paper-IV of my MA Political Science Examination.
