Some of my family members lived in Detroit, so I lived there off and on since 1979. Detroit was great, but after the mid-1990s, Detroit became a crime-ridden city. It started being so horrible that tens of thousands of people moved in a very short time. Also, for years, I've vacationed in Chicago since I was a teenager (1990's), and after the early 2000s it's gotten so awful, with gangs. Same situation with Detroit. Detroit was taken over by gangs and started collapsing in the mid-1990s, and Chicago started collapsing after 2005 bcus of gangs. SO, you can't blame a president about gangs. Because the main problem has been the break down on family units. Especially since there's been fewer fathers involved in their kids lifes. It'd be easy and better for you to blame the ones who are having unwanted pregnancies. If there were a drop of unwanted pregnancies, then crime would drop off significantly in 15-20 yrs. So, Robert, what do you suggest? Should Joe Biden babysit horny people who don't use birth control???
Our downtown got better because it's mostly rich white people living there now and we don't go around shooting people.The inner city is still absolute garbage and it always will be because of the culture. Truth hurts!
