Considering Nintendo was already starting to develop a reputation for producing mostly E-rated child/family-friendly games at that point (in spite of a Herculean effort by NoA's marketing to suggest otherwise, cf. that N64 commercial at the end of this video), combined with South Park's then-justified reputation for extremely edgy crass adult humor, it baffles me that that South Park game wasn't initially developed for the PS1 instead.

The Rugrats and All Grown Up Christmas specials have always been VERY vengeful with their holiday lessons. The very first Rugrats special pretty much says "Be good, kids or else SANTA WILL DUMP A BAG FULL OF COAL ALL OVER YOU!!" And now this All Grown Up special also says "Don't steal or else YOU"LL GO TO HELL!!"

It's probably worth mentioning Rugrats had a bunch of Jewish people working on the show so they put a lot more emphasis on the Old Testament wrath aspect of Abrahamic religion than the "Jesus loves all of you" thing.

What if when Chucky and his friends break into Chucky's house to steal back the tree, his dad comes down the stairs with a gun and blasts one of them? Then everyone assumes he must've stolen the first tree and the guilt and recriminations tear the gang apart leading to the grizzly ends of each Rugrat, one by one in that sort of unenjoyable slow spiral to doom that typifies films like Glengarry Glen Ross or A Simple Plan. Or not, you know... whatever.

The second Rugrats Christmas episode had even more blatant religiousness. There was a scene where the main characters came to a Nativity and, thinking the baby Jesus was a real baby, gave Him the stuff they obtained over the episode, and the baby Jesus smiled. Then again, the show did feature a Passover episode with Tommy as Moses.
