My worst blind buy is Encre Noi. It states it’s woody, but it’s it truly smells like an old woman’s perfume. It’s strong as heck too. I sprayed it on a towel and it was still strong after a solid 24 hours. If anyone wants it I’ll send it to you maybe for a scent you don’t like. DONT BLIND BUY IT, seriously.

That A All Oud one is definitely Nasty Work lol. OUDYYY AF‼️. It smell like by the Fire Place LITERALLY LOL. It was my first middle eastern frag. I wore it once to work an Chocked out errrbody 😂. Issa No fa me lol💯
Totally agree about Ameer al Oudh lol but Suits is perfect for me - even the OG Tuxedo is a soft projecting more reserved frag but both last 6-7 hours for me, just not loud projecting at all which for formal stuff I want to avoid anyway haha
I was getting like 3-4 hours And I loved the smell which made it so heartbreaking, but I definitely get what you're seeing some fragrances aren't meant to project like you said
@@BTScentsif you love that smell get kizmet. It's alot stronger and smells the same. I didn't like the smell of either but they smell exactly the same it's just the kizmet is stronger. It's a beast after a couple of months of maceration.
Good topic. Got a new subscriber with this one. You are right that blind buys are part of the fun. I have blind bought a lot based on reviewers but I have quickly learned what I like. I won't blind buy anything over 200 though. I get a decant or travel size and if I like it then I'll buy the bottle. Keep up the great work.
I LOVE Tuxedo and I am searching for a good dupe. Got one from Esenzzia in Spain and has good performance and sillage. Ameer is very polarising fragrance. I like it for women.
ameer al oudh i heard some bad things about so I picked up ace of spaids by fragrance world and it’s very good for the price, missing some of that super strong burning feeling like the og but very good stuff nonetheless
That’s a shame that your bottle of Suits doesnt last. Idk if they have batch variations but I know I bought mine around the middle of last year and at least on my skin, I get better longevity than the OG.
Man I thought it was just me, but the overdose of black pepper ruined Ferragamo f black. It’s way to spicy 🌶️ Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud, is just terrible to me. I sold it the first day I got it 😂. But like you said, women tend to love it. Thanks for your honesty and transparency
My bro loves the ameer Al oudh intense. It’s def tough bro , and I have a similar scent ragbah wood intense. It’s a weird hard fragrance to pull off. Even by the fireplace is kind of off putting too. Maybe perfect for holiday parties tho, just spray the house with 😂
My worst blind buys were Armaf Craze and Louis Cardin Sacred. Craze smelled like almonds and nothing else, Sacred was supposed to be a vanilla, caramel gourmand and all i got was smoke and woods.
suits might be same as kismet for me I like a lot the smell.. but it last max 6h... at first I did love it.. I was not sure.. but then I kept going there to smell again and again.. mostly wear at home.. so I actually like it a lot and dont mind about the 6 hours...
The way you bottle described the second fragrance Lattafa Al meer oud intense is the way I think of Khamra , only it’s too too cinnamon dominant and i believe it has incense ( I personally hate incense) I think from now on every time I smell cinnamon I’m going to be reminded of Khamra but don’t get me wrong I don’t completely regret the blind buy.
I wanna get my nose on that, I've been staying away from it because I already have angels share but I keep hearing that they're totally different, so i'll give it a try.
@@BTScents to me, it’s totally nothing like any Angel Share Clone I had even though I never smelt the real thing I had Alx Frg Brooklyn Fragrance Lover and Cocktail Intense.
The performance on suits is well good for me. In fact I went to an event and was outside and I obviously sprayed to much and it was so strong all night and that was outside.
Real Talk. I sprayed Ameer on a paper towel when I got it. And tossed the paper towel and the fragrance in the trash. It was That much of a chemical mess. HATED it. 2 days later went to talk out the trash and. It Smelled Amazing. So I dug it out and let it sit for a few months. Now it’s Sooo much better. But I still rarely Ever reach for it.
6 months ago got Asad and hated it. Wore today loved the strength and longevity. Ordered some Zara and mostly light smells but Antique Brown hit because dupe for Brooklyn Frag. Had Black Panther and almost threw it out. Saved it and going to wear it tomorrow. Deep Blue MFK clone in today, meh. Hawaiian Volcano is better. Didn’t like Monarch at first but love it now.
Man I love to blind buy sometimes, but I do have price limits in place. If it’s over $150, I’m testing first. anything with oud, I will not blind buy! Great topic and great work BT! 🫡
The thing I realized collecting fragrances is that everyone’s smelling senses are damn near unique because I bought fragrance off it being hyped up on RU-vid EVERYONE REALLY GENUINELY LOVE but at the same time there are those who get nauseous smelling them , like for me Sillage by Armaf is one that everyone loves but it smells like a 1980s Fat Sharpie marker with the squarish tip for tagging ..l I thought in the beginning of my collection that British Laundry was nice and affordable and they have some decent semi clones …. FOR INSTANCE Oxford Bleu smells 98% spot on to Versace Eros( only side by side you could pick up the difference) but when it comes to Arrogant by British Laundry you gonna be smelling Angus Scrimm from the movie PHANTASM (1979) giving you a tour of his place of business.
I watch numerous fragrance channels. Some of the other fragrance content creators suggest putting unliked fragrances away for 3 to 6 months and then trying them again. That’s what I’m going to do with some of my current unliked fragrances.
Its true Frags are subjective 😂 ameer al oud to me is good, though my bottle smells abit plasticky for 4 mins, its getting better over maceration, but khamrah is overly sweet for me 😂😂 and a no for me, but people love it, i smelled the tux and failed to understand whats nice on that fragrance 😢
Ameer Al oudh is not for me too, when I wear it, I feel exhausted. However, I got many compliments from it. Finally, I won't return to it. Suits is best smell for me.
F black is a cheap gem , but I agree with you with amerr Al oudh , that stuff stinks It’s smells so cheap . It’s like a sweet funky smells that smells so bad . It’s horrible!

Suits was thenworse blind buy ever. And kizmet. I thought it would be different but smells exactly the same. I was trying to see why cuba knows like tuxedo but i dont understabd it lol its not that great
Aww Man I love F Black. But my least favorite blind buys are Both Office and Date by Jeremy fragrance. I bought the hype 🤷♂️. Parfums De Marley Sedley because of Performance and Pegasus because I’m not feeling the Almond . Afnan Supremacy Incense. It’s cool but I feel like I have to be an old Wizard to pull that off. All of my Leather fragrances. It gets sickening after a while. Creed EROLFA - weak and uninspired. Dior Homme 2020 was trash. YSL Le Parfum smelled good but performed worse than that kid in the American pie flick.

I don’t know if my Sedley is reformulated or not to be honest. It smells good but there’s a clone with a hideous bottle all silver with a horse head. That bottle I would buy. 35 bucks I think. I think all the YSL Y flankers are good. This one I bought it the YSL Homme Le Parfum so the original joint with a boozy twist. Smells good for 5 minutes. Real talk that’s the performance. I’m scared to cop the Le Nuit flanker . Good blind buys for me Valentino Born in Roma Intense, Spice Bomb Infrared, and Parfums De Marley Herod. All three are lady killers. Let’s get it
@@BTScents I don’t get the pineapple note off my skin and it it’s too musky. It’s dries down funky on me. It smells too much like Aventus to me and Aventus smells like old red clothed church pews to me. 🤷
@@BTScents guess not. I’ve only smelled 3 batches. Don’t remember the batch codes. Wasn’t a fan of any of them. Smelled a couple dupes and inspired by’s and did not like them
