#4 Penn State vs #17 Minnesota Highlights | Week 11 | College Football 2019 

Looking back and seeing all the pros in this game is crazy. Tyler Johnson, Antoine Winfield, Rashod Bateman, KJ Hamler, Pat Freiermuth, Benjamin St. Juste, Micah Parsons, etc etc.

Almost 4 years later and I still get goosebumps every time…this is easily the greatest Gopher football game I’ve ever seen

Watching this game and that damn gopher on the big screen made me spit out my pepsi on the penn state field goal lol.

I was a UMN freshman in 2021 so I didn’t watch this game. But the seniors and juniors talked about this game as the stuff of legends for us.

Great job with the highlights. Well done to keep replays of the big plays. Very smooth cuts on announcers' voices. Only miss was there was no replay of the offensive pass interference call at 1:21 which won the game for Minnesota.

I told everyone that the gophers under fleck would be serious...they laughed at me, personally I couldn't wait to face them in the big ten championship , again they laughed at....now with this win....no one is laughing anymore. Thank you gophers for a lovely weekend. Sincerely , a buckeye fan.

Minnesotas 2019 was very underrated finished 10th and the QB Morgan Running back Mohamed and the wide recivers Johnson and Bateman

Everyone thought the gophers were just a running team. But really, we just play whatever the defense is giving us. Weeks 1-4 we averaged just 115 yards on the ground, but 273 through the air, those teams thought we couldn't throw the ball, so they sold out on the run. Weeks 5-8 we averaged 293 on the ground and just 176 through the air - those teams thought "oh shit, they can throw the ball so we can't load the box" and we ran it down their throats behind the biggest O-line in FBS. It's not rocket science; the Gophers will run it down your throat relentlessly if you let them. But if you sell out against the run, we will throw it over your head. Penn state probably looked at the first 4 games and thought, "meh, still a running team that was able to throw against weak defenses, let's focus on stopping the run." BIG mistake...HUGE... I actually think the defense took a while to get in sync, which is why the first 4 games were close (although Purdue was garbage-time padding against our second string, the gophers really dominated that game).

Penn state play calling didn’t help in this game and Minnesota was definitely good, but PSU got hosed by the refs in this game, ex: hamler INT and George OPI, the George one especially was absurd and kept us from 1st and goal from the 2
