Hi Mara, It's nice to meet you here. Am from SAP Business Objects. As part of corporate strategy we are moving to Power BI. I hope am going to learn more from here. Thank you.
You are incredible and love watching you. I have a question if you don't mind. If I see a nice a nice visual on Adobe stock, how can I get that visual from that dashboard and use it please. Is there a way of copying the visual from Abode stock or freepik dashboard
I have been following you eversince I started learning power BI. I love designing my power BI report and your videos helped a lot and I got positive feedbacks from my mentors.
I have been following you on LinkedIn for some time and JUST NOW, after seeing your video with Mr. Adam Saxton (GiaC), did I just subscribe! Really enjoyed this video and I'm going to try and implement these techniques in of my upcoming reports. Gracias!!!
Really nice - But i feel that if this report would ever meet the real CFO, or Sales department .. they go .. yes but i want a table where i can see the Delta of the sales over time vs last year and vs budget, and spread out over customers, and also i want so see our sites, and regions - this is a power bi repport for a year report to go public - not for internal use - or am i doing it wrong ?
That was my concern as well. What do you do when they come back and ask you to add another chart or filter? How do you replicate it so that all of your reports (my inventory is over 250 report pages) have the same look and feel?
@@heidicroft1088 My take on this is NOT to make it in PowerPoint (or any other) but design the design in PowerBI - so drawing the stuff in Power BI, and then grouping all graphics so i can easy turn them off in visuals, so i dont misclick them alle time while im editing. this way an elipse is easy to expand simply by dragging it. Also i have added our corperate colors to a j-son so they are my default in Power BI
Hi Kigsley here from Ghana . However I missed the background part and also after designing everything in powerpoint how did u migrate it back into power
I create slightly different layouts depending on the page. If you have bookmarks etc I probably will just use buttons in Power BI directly instead of trying to build the entire navigation in Power Point/Figma

@@datapears Good tips!. Could you share how you have created the navigation in this case, the button setup is very clever to prominently display the selected page and highlight the name of other pages when hovering over it. It will be of great help to take action and implement its recommendations. Thanks in advance
If I changed the canvass size in power BI and duplicate the size in powerpoint, it does not match even if i convert pxl to inc. tried all possible “views” in both app.
Hello great tips! By the way, don't mean to pick nits but it is pronounced "A-dough-bee" not "Ad-obe" English is weird and your mastery is very good, and Adobe is of course a Spanish word. But that is a NIT and your tips are SUPER!!!
the problem with design, is that its subjective, you could spend alot of time and effort doing the design, only for your customer to say, i dont like that, move that over here, delete that, those colors look weird.. blah blah :D i hate design.
