I have another reason why your dying in Smite. You or your team mates don't look at the mini map.

The reason I die alot cause of my teammates who don't retreat and me being the awesome guy I am go back to help them and then they decide to retreat leaving me to 3v1 battle.

Another Reason: You are so focused on a build that you dont counterbuild.

I die because my team abandons me almost every game

Every point you made is exactly what happens when I'm playing on the PS4. No clue about Xbox. But alot thirsty people on the PS4. Keep trying to get kills, but end up getting gangbanged by the entire enemy team. :(

Playing Ganesha and Khepri alot more lately, its surprisingly relaxing to know that you don't need to watch your KDR out of fear of your ally's rage, especially as Ganesha. Sometimes you need to play support to cleanse yourself of the need to keep up with / race ahead of your team.

You've got it rigth Randy, I have seen so many players (including me back in the good old days) positioned so bad that they just can't be saved by their teammates and end up blaming their team because they didn't follow up on a 1v5 suicide bombing attack

I've been playing with friends on PlayStation who have just started playing smite about a few months ago and one thing I notice, even with my more experienced friends is that they aren't using their kit to their full advantage. One of them will play Scylla and will get ganked at every corner and dies at every fight. While I was watching him in the living room he handed me the controller and told me to see if I could do anything. I walked into mid and threw down the O ability (her 3) and walked across the lane and both the fenrir and nemisis dashed/leaped to attempt to kill me. By making full use of my O ability I was able to teleport back to the dog, drop the ring of death and wipe both of them out, rinse and repeat until they surrendered.

Yeah, you right. Though the majority of mine are either flanked or I engage in a fight I think I can win. That's really it though. And hey, enjoy your vacation!

I get frustrated when I look at how many subs u have cuse I know that u deserve so much more. Like ur the best smite RU-vidr out there.

Yeah I use to have these problems but I realized that patience is key.

I tend to have a lot of trouble with tip 1 mostly because I solo queue. 90% of the time if I ping or signal a gank as jungle, or full engage a teamfight as a tank, my team just stares and watches me die when we could have easily won. Basically I'm playing a team game, using team based strategies, when I am usually closer to being alone.

Build a tanki Odin, Chaac or Tyr. You will never die. Unless you get target by the whole enemy team. You still can survive.

My own lack of knowledge of other gods... gets me every time... I just never suspect the burst.

thanks raynday i used your tips and i was in a conquest with my friend who was playing Ameturasu and i was au kuang the rest of my team left and after an hour we forced them to surrender we dominated 99 kills to 43 thanks for your tips they made me a better player

keeping real as always I have been following your smite guides for a while now and they truely have made me a better player and understand the game a whole lot more thank you.

A good thing for a little run down of each class's area in a team fight. Warriors should try to be in the front line clashing with other warriors and/or guardians or possibly the middle of enemy line. Guardians should be in their own mid line-front line body blocking, dishing out CC, and just generally supporting the warrior/hunter. Hunters should be behind the guardian and in the middle of the pack. They can hit the warriors/enemy hunters from there and also help out mage if need be without risking getting taken out too quickly and your team losing it's sustained damage. Most mages belong in the backline dishing a lot of ranged burst, but not getting too close or too far from the midline otherwise they risk getting targeted by the entire enemy team. Mages like Hel or Aphrodite are the exception, they have to be close to the front to deal their damage/heals. Assassins like Thor or Susano do great with a bruiser build and should be in the front line or enemy mid line to disrupt them. Assassins like Loki or Ao Kuang most benefit from jumping on a squishie and insta killing them. Ao Kuang specifically can insta kill a mage, then grab the hunter with his ult and easily secure 2 kills so these assassins belong in the enemy backline but should quickly escape after taking out 1 or 2 people. Also, don't run head first at the enemy's backline, always try going from the side. Kali is a speciality because she has a target that gives her back most of her health, letting her steamroll people after the first kill, and an ult that is basically Sanctuary on steroids. She should almost always start by going for her target, unless it is the guardian or possibly the warrior. If it is, she should go for a mage or hunter while the target gets weakened by her team.

Reason #237: using your escape to initiate fights or too early in a fight. Bacchus is exempt from this reason usually.

this man gets me when in playing my x rank Ra and I get killed if I check the stats and if the player has a better kda than me I feel bummed out but if they don't I feel like the didn't deserve it

I'm really bad about trying to chase kills, and I hate myself sometimes because I'm so aware of that being my issue. But I also hate when I think that my team is behind me (because they are) , so I go in and then realize I'm alone...

One of the reasons why I die a lot in Smite is because I'm more passive where as more often than not, I'm with people who are hyper aggressive. So they go in expecting everyone else to know they are going in without actually telling the team they are so we get picked off one by one or I'm out of position because of that. I try to keep aware but watching my back and watching my team mate who can't communicate a simple "Attack!" or "Fall back" command is pretty hard to do. That's what I've noticed anyway so I've tried to change up how I play and be a little more aggressive when It's safe and it seems to be working out better but I still have the odd few games where the team just doesn't say they're going in but expects everyone to follow on point. Just communication between everyone is one big part of my deaths and because none of my friends play Smite, I solo queue and communication in solo queue is pretty bad as everyone knows :(

Last little bit, another reason you are probably dying (in conquest atleast) is lack of wards and callouts/mini mal awareness. If you are pushing 1 person in the tower, then the entire enemy team shows up and you had no wards which would let you know ahead of time to run, odds are you arent making it out alive.

another reason is absence of map awareness, some deaths can be avoided by just knowing were the enemy is, and it avoids surprise attacks/ganks. I can't tell you how many times I've died just by trying to get a buff, then 3 Gods randomly come and I'm playing someone like Ah Muzen Cab or my escapes are on cooldown, so map awareness is another big point

Another reason why you can die in conquest is if you get rotated on, if the enemy team has good rotations, PLAY YOUR TOWER.

The reason I die is either the fact that I play a god I'm not used to or the situation that happened to me yesterday. I played Bacchus and was going forward with two other players. Saw a perfect opening to jump in and belch so my team can get kills. Jumped, belched and watched as my team was running back to our tower.. Gotta tell ya I was a tiny bit pissed.

May i recommend a video explaining what spot is the front line and what is the back line and how to maneuver it etc

Raynday: You can't do it all! This is a 5v5 team game. You will be dying EVERY single time you try to take those numbers into your OWN hands in a 1v2 or a 1v3. Meanwhile... Thanatos gets a double kill BY himself IN tower 😂😂 Yep that definitely proved Raynday's point

One reason I personally die a lot, when I'm under leveled, is when I simply don't notice lol. I get used to playing arena where I rarely have to worry about my level, then jump into another game mode and end up falling behind almost immediately because I waste my mana/hp too fast and am constantly returning to base and missing out on xp

there I am, playing Ares, telling the team my ult is ready. I hit the ultimate, catch 4 enemies, pull them in, and I turn around to find myself alone. everyone else ran. and that's how I die

I love your videos! I don't have a nice enough computer to play on pc, so I play on xbox. I only have a few friends that play, but they don't fully understand a lot of things about the game.. one of them only cares about how many kills he gets, one of them blames every death he receives on everyone but himself and automatically says "we're going to lose" if anyone dies, I can go on but I won't. so my question to you is this: how do you get people to understand the concept of staying positive, and learning from mistakes rather than getting angry over them? when I try to explain these things, things never change.

i just searched how to die less in smite and this is what came up i feel like this will be really helpful considering my stats are pretty good apart from deaths which are below average (or should i say above average) on every god ive played with very few exceptions

When I tower dive an enemy and get the kill but also die I feel accomplished everytime. Sometimes I'll even scream WORTH sometimes.

The snowball is real, I'm new, but I've learned very quick, it's better to lose a kill and live than to die trying to finish an enemy hero. If you don't die early and get the snowball rolling in your favor, later you will steamroll them. You gotta play the long game.

I once played an arena match where the entire enemy team was assassins. Fenrir, Serqet, Loki, Bastet and Thor. I was playing Arachne. I ran up on all 5 of them and boxed them one by one into a pentakill. I won that match 16-0.

As someone who used to main Aphrodite back in the days before there were 19 hard counters to healers: I CAN'T HEAL YOU THROUGH A 5v2 UNDER TOWER

Carries using their mobility move to go into full health characters, not killing them and having no escape as a result

something you continually bring up in videos is the "back line" or the "front line." While the names are very self explanatory they're still a subject that is kinda iffy in my head. a detailed video on this kind of formation with a front and back line, some gods that should usually be at these positions, and just general information about how you should go about when in a team fight would be very appreciated.

When the whole enemy team is in dou lane but your solo laner won't rotate

I only go into 1v2s or 1v3s if they are all 1 hit or close, im way outleveling them as an assassin or warrior, or im Skadi or Loki and can quickly either kill someone or just use Kaldr to bodyblock/push someone away from me with the ult.

Another reason i see a lot is when people overextend in their respective lanes and get ganked. This happens a lot when you're a little ahead and you decide to push tower or something. I do it a lot and is something that i see quite a few other players doing as well.

Bad or no communication is insta kill. GG TTYL YOU ROCK!

I hate when there's a player on my team pushing as a squishy Mage like Anubis or Zeus. They like to go vs everyone on the enemy team because they can dish out so much damage, but they just end up dying instantly. I see Loki and Susano do that so much, but Susano usually escapes somehow from like 4 enemy players haha.
