Gary you hit the nail on the head. Of course Ritchie is a gr8 film maker but you're dead on in my opinion. Brad absolutely kills this role and the heart of his performance truly shines through by how he makes you feel just as invested in his whole group of family and friends even though they have so few lines because of his subtle genius way of making you understand there's no Mickey without the whole group. Also, you said Brad's performance here was "just as quality as" --- but bc you didn't put "etc," I insist on adding "Meet Joe Black" to your list :). @Cock McBalls - The answer to that is simple. He will never be Partick Stewart or Kenneth Branagh. So what. He knows it too. And he is OK with it. Why? Becaue of... money. And there is nothing wrong with it. All depends how much the contract is paying, and most of his roles are "easy" in this case. Just go through the motion, take a check, job done. At the end, no matter how anybody is going so spin it - all of entertainment is about money. If you want something different, go back to the roots. Do a theatre as an actor. Go for it. it is also amazing, but it is different experience than movies as such. I bet Statham is going for money. And I agree with him 100% (considering his background). Life is short.

Great comment. I'm glad someone else appreciates Hoskins' acting in those last couple of minutes. It's like watching the seven stages of grief playing out on his face, finally ending with acceptance. Incredible.

Snatch is one of those gems you forget just how good it is. Then you rewatch it realize it's too damn good, and try to explain to your girlfriend why you've been doing push-ups and punching holes in the drywall all morning.

Achilles in "Troy "is my favourite Brad role, followed by "Once upon a time in Hollywood", where he plays a stuntman called Cliff, a real life former badass special forces operative.

Liotta performed his best, still rather unknown, performance in Revolver too. Shows what an extraordinary director Guy Richie is. He's also the only director to ever make us believe Jason Statham is an actor or even awful Vinnie Jones is 😁. That's more than talent. That's art! And indeed, this was the very best Brad Pitt ever. Fabulous movie. Impossible to overrate 😊
