@@connormurphy683 Yes, It was mainly (semi-broken and an insane accent) Hebrew with scattered words from a few Arabic languages. A lot of Hebrew speakers use Arabic words daily. The translation is pretty accurate to what's being said. the other guy is speaking Arabic (not sure what variety)
Please make a sequel to this movie with continuity. This is one of the best dark satirical comedy movies of all times. It is satirical both about Dictatorship and democracy. It is actually a 2 way satire.
@@vlalramzauva6573 tell me u dont know free speech without telling me u dont know free speech. lol i am with free speech, but i still find this movie (the clips at least it's been a long time since i last watched the whole movie) extremely funny.
I was very Aladeen when I first watched this. Acting was Aladeen, plot was Aladeen and most importantly the moral message behind it was Aladeen. Totally Aladeen movie.👍👆
@@gurpreetthind4462 the screenplay might had been aladeen but that was more than made up for by the aladeen plot. Please do not try to aladeen this movie.
@@thereinthetrees_5626 A Jihad is just an arabic word for a crusade. Many of the combatants on both sides saw their fight as a righteous crusade against the other side (See The Battle Hymn of the Republic, or better yet, the man who inspired the aforementioned song, John Brown. For the confederacy, you should look at how the slave owners of the south narcissisticly saw themselves as "educators" of the black underclass, in both material and especially *spiritual* subjects and also that many of them saw the conflict as an extension of the English Civil War which in itself was a religiously imbued era). It's really quite interesting stuff. I'd suggest watching some of Atun Shei's series on the war, facetiously titled "Checkmate Lincolnites".
That helicopter scene is definitely one of the most well written comedy scenes I've ever scene. Edit: lmao I don't remember if saying "scene" was intentional or a mistake but apparently it was controversial enough to start a year long comment war😂
@@AzeOfSpadez Not all comedy is for you friend. Life doesn't revolve around you, and the commenter definitely didnt care about you when typing that out
The american president never lied about what their uranium was supposed for. Namely to fight two of the most terrible, murderous totalitarian dictatorships in the world, Imperial Japan and nazi Germany. So your comment makes very little sence.
My favorite scene in the movie was near the end when he was describing all the great things about a dictatorship and he was describing what is happening in modern democracies LOL.
there's no inherent difference between a dictatorship and a democracy. Only those hold power benefit. 1 vs 100, means nothing to the rest of the 100 million.
As I watched this movie in the theater, I wasn't into it at all until he helped the woman give birth. "I'm so sorry, it's a girl...where's the trash can?" I was the only one who laughed....🤣
I saw this in the theater but coming off of Borat… I had such preconceived hopes that I didn't really care for this movie much. But now looking back at the scenes, I see the genius. Pretty damned funny!
@@nrupensingh7995 If it was true then they would have been invade a long ago the only reason china doesn't go too far with India is because of its nuclear capabilities Even our late president kalam sir said that for India to be peaceful it's enemies need to fear it.
No doubt about it, so natural, so energetic, so enthusiastic! It’s one of the best examples of how to act; loved every second of the movie; such a creativity!
People keep trying to outclass each other with their own "darker" or "funnier" versions of The Joker, when al we need to do is give Sacha Baron Cohen the brightest purple suit we can find and watch him create the most perfect character in Joker's history.
He is good company to me and my young adult years. The sharpness of his wit is still beyond compare. A master of mirroring our wrong choices. Love Eulenspiegels.
always wished Sasha would make Dictator2 but then i used to also wish for Borat2 and now wish i didnt. Seems Sacha might not be good at sequels but great at new stories. Hell even that Bruno is better than most new comedies and SSacha goes all in for his art!
Well I think a major reason why that movie was bad, was because of the girl, it added too much scripted lines. What made the first movie so special was that no one knew they were in a movie, to the point the FBI investigated them. But he couldn’t do the same formula, because everyone knows what borat looks like now. But the dictator was an actual movie, not 75 minutes of pranks, so it may do better
