It's the NUMBER 1 question I get asked: Kaela, how are you so consistent with reading the Bible?
In 2017 I committed to reading the Bible daily. And when I say "committed" I meant it for real that time. I made some very simple shifts in my mind and in my lifestyle that got me to be consistent and stay consistent with reading the Bible.
I'm sharing 4 of the simple strategies with you. And when I say simple, I mean simple!
As a former elite athlete, personal trainer, and fitness professional, I literally TRAINED MYSELF to read the Bible consistently and now, more than seven years later, my relationship with God is on a level I never knew existed, and still growing from here!

After 42 years of being a Christian, now only in 2024 have I started reading the Bible consistently. More than one chapter a day because I believe we are going to meet Jesus in the sky very soon and there is not much time left. Doing it for a deeper understanding of who God is, and because I want to have a more authentic relationship with him.

I needed this. God knew to add this to my suggestions page on RU-vid. The biggest takeaway was the spending time “about” God not “with” God. Wow!! I am soooooo guilty of this!! I watch so many sermons, read so many Bible-related books, do so many Bible studies BUT i never SPEND time with God. I have always felt I could not understand the Word without guidance. But I know that is a lie of Satan. Thank you sister and God bless you! I will be consistent with the Bible. 🙂❤️😁

Me, too. I read the entire book, then go back to chapter 1 and follow up with a commentary reading. Always pray when you read the Bible. I love the interactions between the Lord and men, women and children. Faithful is He Full of love and grace.

Its about 4am and i had been awake since 2am no sleep and am going through RU-vid and i bump into this video. I don't know about other people but for me i will bump into a video take few minutes skip it and go back waste my time then watch or don't if it doesn't interest me (but this morning i had already wasted my time watching old video of the monarchy) and i see this video instantly I opened and Listened subscribed and am glad. Woke up in the wee hours this morning. Never heard of you didn't know anything about you... but God's timing is perfect! I listened and took my notes. I've been trying to have a relationship, and it seems for a couple of weeks us good even my g.kids respond differently to me. This wrench gets thrown in and messes me all up( stress). I know God blesses me to kerp it up and encourages me.then, after a week of terrible sadness, I cry out to Him.HE lifts me out of them. My daughter told me a couple of years ago. Mom, you're not consistent, but you are definitely persistent. My desire is to be both! Thank you, my newfound friend and sister in the Lord. You take what pastors, etc, complicate and make it simple yet powerful. Thank you !

Unlearning generational practices that weren’t reflective in walks of life I’ve seen to now at 36 found God again August 2023 now April 2024 rededicating my life to Christ happy to have found this platform and resources for more clarity. Thank you for your great tips. This is my 40th anniversary as a Christian, but I have only read through the bible once, following some kind of reading plan, so I didn’t really read and learn but to fulfill the “schedule” by the rushing word by word before deadline. Now I’ll be more serious and to treasure it taking the time to rebuild the relationship with God. But the biggest challenge is whenever I have a quiet moment, my mind is already occupied by things to do next. I’m like a running engine that won’t stop.

I went through this first few days 3:43 . I have friends that I not consistent. We’ve discussed it. I opened my home for every Friday we get together and we watch a video about consistency And then every day I send them the one video with her reading the Bible with us I asked the ladies to read it by themselves first and then listen to the video. Have 10 ladies and I had five extra that I just don’t have room for I will have to do the study over again. It has been so good. We had so much fun getting together and talking about our problems with consistency and helping each other work out some new ideas. It has been fun to fellowship. We have lunch together and just spend time in the word and learning together, how to be consistent.

Wow..Im sad you've had huge losses in such a short time..yet..God really wants you totally dependant on Him. He is refining us. We are His Bride & we are preparing our 'wedding gown'. See 1 Thesselonians 4:14-18 & 1 Corinthians 3 about the works & our rewards! (Works=those as unto God eg..include also in our home praying, worshipping in spirit & truth). Ive seen/heard my daughter almost daily for 4 years grieving for her husband (1st & only love)..who was lost to her & her 3 children, through an accident..her once love of Lord had been quite lost but through this anguishing time she has only run into Jesus & He has shown Himself strong to her. I was there dor her to help her keep her eyes on Him. She has a lovely relationship with Him again. I encourage you if you might need..find someone who can encourage you on..that is what we are to be as the Body to each other. Bless you

Thank you for this message. I came across it accidentally, I'm sure God actually led me somehow while I was scrolling. I got saved in 1995 age 28 and until 2015 I was in the Bible daily loved the Word. When I went through storms, I would get even closer to God. I always thought I would always be close to Him and rely on Him. Then I'm 2015 I went through a very hurtful thing and menopause started a couple months later. Little by little I read the Bible less and less. I was so depressed for a few years. I'm better now and I try to read but it is a battle! Every day I get sidetracked. It's sorta like I'm scared to pick up my Bible. I can't explain it. I am going to try to implement your plan. Please pray for me!

I read my Bible and pray minimum twice a day, morning and evening. I read from the beginning (Old Testament) straight through the New Testament, not leaving anything out. I read about 10 verses at a time and then think about what I read. When I don't understand I ask God in prayer to reveal the meaning to me. I'm doing this since around 2015. What I've learned so far is, people claim that the Bible have been translated so many times and words were added and removed, but the best thing is, God knows it! :) So, when I ask, God will either send someone to give me the answer, and I'll know it right away, or He gives me an insight (a thought or layout that crosses my mind without me thinking about it at that moment). He actually puts the puzzle together for me, so to speak, by taking verses I read before, but thought I didn't remember. Another interesting thing about reading the Bible constantly from the beginning to the end, is that you get answers in His Word that you've read so many times before but because you needed an answer now, you realise and understand a specific verse or paragraph so much better and you think, "why didn't I see this earlier?", but the thing is, you did, but before you were not wondering about it or needed an answer yet. The Bible is as alive as your personal relationship with God. :)

Great. This is helpful to many people who would like to read the Bible consistently. Where I attend church, we have an 8 month programme,CBRSM...consistent Bible reading and Scripture meditation. It's a discipline,it has helped me start reading the bible consistently since 2017. Am in my 7th round... The points you share are real to me,too. Thanks for sharing.

I thought I’d mention my morning routine. I have a devotional called Jesus Calling and I write out the scriptures listed at the end of each day on post it notes and keep them in the book. Then I watch The Bible Recap here on YT. It’s only 7 minutes and it helps me learn each book of the Bible. I do this every day without fail. 💜🙏🏻

@JD-yq3dd , idk about channeling, but I believe that God showed me NOT to read Jesus Calling book. I know that it is well written but it's what the author is telling me and she's not God. God wanted to tell me what He wanted to say to me. I opened the Bible and God showed me. I have a relationship with God now and it's sooo much better than Jesus Calling or any other book that's not written by God.
