Picking a padlock, extra tips: Use Clockwise tension, not counter clockwise because very often the lock will not open otherwise. In this clear lock, it seemed like there were 7 pins, this is wrong. There are only 6 pins in this lock as there are in most locks. The seventh pin (Furthest back) Is a pin that holds the core (round brass piece that turns) into the lock body. Hope this helps.
Hobby Picker As you'll know also super easy to do on a see though training lock - when you can't see the pins it becomes a whole different ballgame. Anyway, I've found a new lock picking channel to sub to!

When you can open the u-haul locks they use on their storage bins... then you know you can unlock just about anything. Those things are a bitch to do... especially with paperclips- gl with that. p.s. no I don't go around picking u-haul storage facilities. I just have one of their locks. lol.

I used the Altoids spear gun once to save my life. I was stranded on a deserted island and was starving as I had eaten all of my Altoid MRE's. I made the spear gun after a Chinese fireworks plane crashed into my shelter wrecking it, but thats another story. I used the spear gun to kill a shark with lazer beams for eyes and I ate it. After dinner I saw a plane and used the sharks eyes to try and signal it, but the lazers blinded the pilot and he crashed, boy he was pissed. But it was all good as the guys plane was carrying sail boats and we just sailed to Bermuda and chilled.

The dart gun would be neat to screw with someone, but "spy gadgets" in this case is a bit of a misnomer. A spy uses a hidden weapon like that for instant protection/destruction of a target. They build pocket pistols in cases like that and ones which fold out of their own handles to remain inconspicuous.

Where's your hating on Microsoft for not being able to make a stable OS in almost 30 years? 95 didn't get stable until the second revision and still was full of holes, same with 98. ME crashed on Bill Gates at the unveiling. XP (using the stable Win2k architecture of NT) didn't get stable until SP3. Vista was a massive failure, 7 was widely acceptable but still had massive security holes that MS never fixed living it up to third party dev teams to fix. 8/8.1 were massive failures as well, both commercially and privately. Windows 10, as someone who helped test it and develop it, was much more stable in beta than it is as an alpha release. I've personally had to rebuild 15 machines for people after windows failed to install right during updates. Meanwhile, Apple's OSX has been stable since the 90's. Which is why every OS since the first OSX is still called OSX with a animal/landmark extender. So yeah, talk shit on Apple products because of a glitch, but ignore that Microsoft has been pumping out garbage since pretty much day one. You obviously are a very intelligent person. Stupid troll.

The Altoid box gun would be more effective if it was loaded with a powdered irritant. I don't think a couple snapping pops and a stick are going to cause enough damage to have any effect on anyone.
It bothered me too, but mostly because he was holding a smooth, rounded object with fingertips. A better grip on the can would have been fine. My preference with small objects is to push them toward the bit instead of the other way around, but i'm not sure how anybody else feels about that

Ya know..... a much better projectile is a Q-tip. Just cut the ball off one end and throw it away. locate a small straight pin or sewing needle and attach it to the cut of end of the Q-tip by wrapping about 10 turns of thread or dental floss around both so that the tip of the pin sticks out past the end of the stick. Now a drop or two of super glue on the thread. The cotton ball on the one end acts as the wad. Add a drinking straw and you have a LETHAL blow dart and gun.

Make a clothes pin "Strike Anywhere" match launching gun. The one I make uses three old style clothes pin pieces, (or sticks), one spring some rubber bands to keep two of the sticks held together. The third wooden clothes pin stick is used to cock the spring in the gun. The spring is like a trigger and when it is pulled the match is lit and launched. I have seen some here on YT but they are making them wrong. Hint you need to notch the cocking stick so it engages the spring trigger and slightly notch the gun stick so the spring stays cocked and ready.
A spy tricks/ survival book I once read described a method for making a firebomb from a butane lighter. It's not a high explosive, so you can't blow anything up with it; but it it makes a flash and fireball. They suggest it be used to create a distraction. Basically, you remove a stop on the flame adjuster, lock it open, light and run. If inclined at an angle, nozzle down, the normal flame melts the plastic and once its reservoir melted through, the liquid butane boils off in a burst and ignites. This type of picking only works on pin tumbler locks not more sophisticated locks and for the tension on the tension wrench you'll want to have a very light touch, it don't take much tension at all.

I learned lock picking on that lock and I can pick that without a tension wrench now it's a good learning tool but it's not a demonstration peace any lock you actually try and pick is going to be a harder than that!
