+James Royce-Dawson Goosebumps was never scary. Even R.L Stine himself stated in an interview they are comedic with a slight amount of mystery. Funny thing is he is one of the major reasons the new film is taking more of a comedic tone because he would alter drafts that seemed too scary. After all this is for kids.

+Mat Bird I experience it quite a lot, i read that stress plays a big role. I figured out, that you have to keep calm and wait for it to disappear.. That helped me alot :)

Calm down its not gonna kill you. When it happens keep cool and don't fight it only makes it worse if anything try to focus on your breathing and try to wiggle your toe or fingers that will help you to wake up

+Mat Bird Strange. It happened to me only once. Years ago. I suddenly woke up and felt like I couldn't movie at all anymore. However, even if I didn't get what was happening, I was like "Meh" a few seconds later (I didn't literally said that, but that's how I felt). And then I closed my eyes to sleep again.

I actually felt someone touching me too until i realized i was alone at home locked in my room, then the touching feeling went away but i was still paralyzed, i was WAY calmer tho hahaha, srs tho thought i was about to be raped....

+Anon Ymous Because it takes longer than a thirteen minute video to be able to recall the information within it days/weeks later. I've seen so many "50 facts -------" videos and Vsauce videos, yet I remember very little of the actual information taught. That's why you don't "learn as much in one class", they drag it on through several classes, tests, homework, etc in order for the students to be able to remember and utilize the information.

Wow Jake. I can't believe it has been 11 months since the last Halloween/Ghost/Paranormal video you have done. I feel like you did "Ghosts" only a few months ago, but thats just how weird my mind can be sometimes. Great video, as always, and Goosebumps is and will forever be my favorite tv/book.
