I once read on google about a haunted place i live near. There were stories posted about seeing ghosts of monks. The next link i click from the search engine was about a bloke who would get bored and setup his projector to shine images of monks onto the walls to scare kids lol.

...Jake, you're quickly becoming what Michael has and made the majority of your videos informational clips on general topics. And I LOVE that! You've got an amazing style for tackling interesting subjects like ghosts and food, and tying them back to stuff of fiction. I also love how unlike Michael (who's videos are awesome on their own, don't get me wrong), you stick with the subject of the video, and just explore some tangents based on the central idea instead of mindblowing philosophy (though I'd classify that atomic turnover thing as mindblowing), Which is perfectly cool. Your cinematography is also top notch, and HOLY HELL your sets. It's really cool to see a different take on what we know as the Vsauce style. Just wanted to say, GG.

this wasnt what i expected. If I wanted a lecture on the history on horror fiction i would have googled it. I was expecting more of a scientific explanation on paranormal activites since this is a science channel. Can't really complain tho, since it didn't state anything on the video title. Good presentation nontheless.

Jake specializes in fiction meets reality. He makes you open up your mind and consider what most people would not. He isn't debunking any of the theories, he only explains them in new and fresh ways. He's an incredible director and visionary in my opinion. One of the best on the internet.

Really like the style of this episode, however you could have explained more paranormal stuff as I don't believe in that, but I would still like to hear some explanations for some things. Really love the set here.
