I bailed on Calgary in 05, zero regrets, had enough cities for one lifetime. You failed to mention the acreages in the county surrounding the town, thats the best real estate anywhere. How many people use "wallmart" as a metric for relocation decisions?
Born in Alberta...we were moved across the country into communist Ontario as a kid. I would love to head back home one day...my grandfather homesteaded near Bearberry...
Hi thanks for nice video I’m Arabic is there any Arabic people live in it or not yet ? I have job offer for me as a pharmacist is it good for work and move to live ?
For a newer house across from the septic lagoon, you’re looking at anywhere from 4000 and up per year for property taxes. But the bright side is, you can smell everyone’s piss and shit out your back patio
A town I would potentially move to. Nothing to do in town, but if you're a working class hero from a city that went from a quiet 20,000 to 100,000 in 30 years Rocky sounds awesome.
Moved to Rocky from the Netherlands in 2014. Sadly left because of the oil price collapse. Never had a place in life to call home and I think Rocky is the place to call home. Drove back from Calgary and it felt like home coming. Rocky it is.
@livinginalberta thanks for reading the long story, lol. We keep in touch. Might need your help with real estate. Funny how you get attached as a Dutch person to a little town like this.
Buddy I do a lot of hockey volunteering and if I lived in Rocky, the first place i'd go is a Rocky Rams Jr. B hockey game. It's not a town for big events, it's a town for peace & quiet.
