hot take - he is both! The poor guy clearly doesn't have a grasp on physics but he is definitely determined and the only guy putting out signs so you really have to respect it! 😀
His name is Addison and he is a hero . Never run passed Addison when he needs help . He’s a champion and the true hero of the game . Don’t let him stand out in the cold
@@wink0wink even in one direction Zelda was being attacked and needed my help and in the other direction Addison is struggling with a sign . I’m going Addison first , he’s more important to the integrity of hyrule.
How fecking dare you say that Addison is incompetent.. He is traveling all over Hyrule in Snow ,Desert and thunderstorms to promote his president . He is the best damn worker ever .
The couple of tips I’D recommend (for anyone starting a new game): Pick up any and all Sundelions you can find because they are the only cooking ingredient that will repair the hearts you’ve lost to Gloom Go to the various stables and complete all the quests to awaken the Great Fairies early because it’s much easier and cheaper to do so this game, letting you upgrade armor more quickly. Start finding the mines in the Depths quickly. There are mines located between each of the major settlements and in canyons below many of the mountains in the game. The Forge Constructs at these will let you trade Zonaite for Crystallized charges, which you can then use to upgrade your Battery capacity, which you’ll need to power bigger and better Zonai Device constructs. There’s also the added benefit of treasure chests with rare items being found at the smaller mines you’ll come to
to be fair, the ZL to reset is written in words at the bottom when Ultrahand is used. It's less hidden than other features, but if someone doesn't see it the first time they might miss it.
another one i found out is that if you attach a rocket to your shield before you go into a shrine you can pretty easily skip most of the shrines puzzles
Wait so this means that you can carry Purah all the way back to Hateno right? I’ve seen people build machines that you can fly with her on board, so if you stop and chat along the way, you could technically take her anywhere…
I don’t like using the hover stones to help Addison. There’s a couple instances where they want you to but I always use the materials they leave you, it’s more fun that way, it’s like a puzzle. Using a hover stone every time just takes every ounce of challenge or ingenuity out of it
Idk if I’d call it a challenge. I always use the same solution for almost every one of them. A flat board on the found, connected to a thin wooden pole that touches the side of the sign, and then a last pole that is either horizontal or vertical depending on how I’m feeling to hold up the sign
@@vaquishers I mean by definition it is a challenge if you have to think of different ways to do it depending on the situation, like you described. Also I feel like you maybe haven’t done too many of them because there are tons on slopes or cliff edges where you’re unable to do that. Regardless, a hover stone for every one just eliminates that aspect of it entirely, which is boring
Thats the beauty of this game....some people find it boring or just want get something over with quickly..or u can test yourself to find different solutions each time.....fuckin GENIUS
my friends apparently didn’t know this but, you can also overcharge your battery just like you can get extra stamina from food. just keep using zonai charges when you aren’t actively using a zonai device
I like the challenge of helping Addison. I create the most wacky structures I can to hold the sign up. I also am a carpenter, so it’s kind of a flex for me.
the hoverstone trick for the Hudson sign was something I haven't even considered. However, I personally enjoy using the pieces that are lying around because it feels like a collection of mini engineering puzzles. practicing on that in turn allows me to come up with more solutions in other areas that would require me to build. Neat trick all the same 👌
Agreed. Coming up with a ridiculous structure to hold up the sign and then using expert parkour to talk to addison afterwards is a part of the fun. But i can't lie. I feel like I'm going to get sick of these after a few too many so having an easy cheat if i need one is nice
To be fair, there are building materials everywhere lol. I tried helping him but it fell over when I walked away and he didn’t give me anything. Plus the sign isn’t snappable with ultrahand so I was like “whatever…”
The cooking pot trick seems finicky because you need your build to have a flat surface to place it down and cook. The rewind power works much better for getting your battery back imo.
Some of the hudson signs don't have a flat bottom on them so its better to use a plank on one or both sides of the sign to make sure it doesn't tip over. Also there is one that's absolutely crazy and i couldn’t get a hoverstone properly underneath it so i just did the intended method of making a weird stand with the nearby materials.
Also for something i found and came up with is that if you have a platform you can Ascend with you can use Ultrahand and keep it in the air for a bit and then let it fall then use Recall and it will float for awhile so you can used Ascend
Okay I get bullshit shorts similar to this recommended all the time, like "DID YOU KNOW FIERCE DEITY SET IS IN THE GAME" "DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN MAKE A HOVER BIKE" but bro these are legit 4 incredible tips. Hats off, I'm definitely going to be using these
I had no clue when I got the paraglider, so if I ever needed to go up in a shrine I would -Float something with ultra hand -Freeze it in time for a moment using the rewinding one -Then use passthrough underneath it
