4 Ways to Make Bank at Zulrah (Welfare & High Tier) 

Hey man I've watched all these videos and really enjoyed it. Appreciate you putting in the time to get us some really good data. If you're interested in doing a more accurate comparison, the best way to do it is to record your number of kills per hour and supply cost of each method rather than having separate loots for each method. Even though you're doing a lot of kills, it's still not enough to account for the variance in drops, especially the uniques. Your profit/kill for the void, ancestral hat, and tbow method were within 1k of each other even though the tbow method uses a lot less supplies so it should be higher profit/kill. To do it more accurately, do like you did at the end of the video and find the average loot per kill and multiply by the number of kills for each method for the regular drops. For the uniques, we know the actual drop rates are 1/512 so you can take the price of each item divided by 512 to get an expected value per kill for each unique. An onyx for example has an expected value per kill of about 3m/512 = 5859 gp. The average gross loot per kill using your data and the expected value for uniques turns out to be 139,649 gp. The expected gross for each method should be 34.9m... Serp: 26.2m profit, 2.51m gp/hr; Void: 27.4m profit, 2.62m gp/hr; Tbow: 30.7m profit, 3.11m/hr; Imbued heart: 28.2m profit, 3.04m/hr. So by interpreting the data better, we see that the tbow method is the best, closely followed by the imbued heart method, which agrees with the general consensus and other Zulrah videos.

How were you teleporting there? Were you using scrolls or running from fairy ring?

Why bring the imbued heart in your inventory if you time banking on the rejuvenation of the heart?

sorry man you are wrong about maxed tbow. It is more gp/hr than max mage and range look at evscapes vid he compared his 24 of zulrah to jakeyosaurus's and said that tbow is more gp/hr but less kills than maxed

I have about 500 kills and still need to pull up a zulrah helper picture when i do zulrah because i just go back for scales as i need them as an ironman.. never really sat down and ground it out, 30 kills here and there... I now want to go for 100k scales to start dwh grind so i figured might as well look into some advanced info and found this, thank you!

Where do you go to bank or restore stats? Do you use a poh and fairy ring or do you use zulandra teleports?

Any chance you could do a real gp on basilisk knights? I just don't know if it's worth doing for slayer and I can't find any decent info on it other than wiki

I use antivenom with ahrims and switch to elite void ranged on the magic phases since it has greater accuracy, fastest kill is about 1 minute and get about 3 kills a run with good rng. I used void mage when i first started, but i feel like not having the tormented bracelet is a downside of using the void mage so its worth making the switch the ahrims, also ring of suffering imbued is pretty huge as well

How about regular void? Im trying to learn zulrah and its pretty overwhelming not gonna lie. But ill make it happen. My cb is 77, range 85, magic 80 45 pray but only 45 def. so at first i brought mystic to god d hide switch but i figured getting void would help alot as far as dps and less switches, so i got fill void this week just need to go back for mage helm. Will regular void ring of suffering occult/anguish neck get the job done for a 45 def trying to learn zulrah for the first time? Lmk anyone or if anyone has other recommendations lmk!

How do you manage to get 3/4 kill trips? I always get 2 or 1 no matter what (only pieces of gear i have maxed out is neck slot for ranged and magic, cape slot for magic, gloves for magic and ranged, ring of suffering ri and boot slot for magic)

I appreciate these guides, but I think a lot of Zulrah guides simply forget to include the absolute easiest method of killing zulrah for the first time, barring efficiency altogether. The absolute easiest method for learning Zulrah is to skip both the magic phase AND the jad phase, and just go into the second or even third rotation to get the kill. This allows you to skip using switches, and only use magic. Not only will this allow you to kill Zulrah with less initial investment, but have more food in your inventory, not have to worry about poor mage phase RNG, and it allows you some breathing room as you're hiding from the mage and jad phases to eat up or think about what the next phase will be. When I looked up a guide to kill Zulrah for achievement, all of the guides were using super efficient methods for moneymaking Zulrah. This video included. My method: Get the best magic gear you can, trident is optimal but iban staff works as well. Mystic is fine for first kill. As ring of recoil does not degrade on the damage you'll take from the poison clouds, just use that instead of ring of suffering, as doing this right, you'll take little to no damage from Zulrah itself, as you'll be praying range on ranged phases and dodging the melee phases, so all the recoil ring will be used for is the snakelings, which is the point of it anyway. Have your client on the right side of your screen and a zoomed in google picture (the clearest you can find) of Zulrah phases on the left. Make sure you are able to read it fast, practise before several times. No need to memorize the phases, as you'll have time to read it during the kill. All the gear he shows in this video is correct, change for mystic if you can't afford Ahrim's and the Serp helm. The gear is still highly recommended. Now, the only thing you need to remember, is that you're going to hide from the mage phase using the pillars, same with the Jad phase. Random Jad phases are easy to spot in that they'll never spawn in the same location as the correct ranged phase. If you encounter a random jad phase, simply hide and wait it out, then continue from where you left off in the rotation. You'll take damage from the poison clouds often when using the pillars to hide, but it's worth it. Because it's reliable damage, that you have the time to eat through as you're not dealing damage. After a while in mage phase, Zulrah starts spitting poison clouds or snakelings. Get in a few hits then if you can, unless you're going to be running from your safespot into poison clouds. Same with Jad phase. If they start spitting those, they're not going to be attacking you for the rest of the phase. Just remember, when you're first timing Zulrah, and using only mage, you're going to end up having to do two rotations. This is true even for magic level 99. This is fine. The bottom of each rotation is simply the first form, but extended so it will start shooting at you instead of the first form's spitting.

How big a difference does the defense from bastion potions make? I've always just used ranging potions for Zulrah.

Your zulrah scale will be weighted above 200 because of the 500 scale drops, unless you accounted for that.

Do a max max max comparison, tbow/arma and harmonized/Ancestral and imbued heart, fire surge dragon arrows ect.

Guys I just want to say i did elite void about a year ago and the wound does heal over time.

great video and effort, i think most of the complaints in the comments are mostly because it was so close to being perfect and you kinda scuffed it in a couple spots tbh. kills per hour > profit per hour. and some of the build choices are a little odd to me but thats ok.

It also helps to have a magic and range level above 80. I wouldn't even recommend zulrah until 85+... I'm learning zulrah (almost at 50 kills) and im at the location to attack zulrah every time, on time, and get between 3-4min kills with the exact invent/gear you show @1:30 .. 3:30 is my average with a P.B of 2:15. Being 80 range and 80 magic just doesn't cut it. Constantly splashing isn't fun.

You considered uniques, something you should never do for things like this - it makes the numbers inaccurate as they cannot be predicted, therefore this is not correct. Twisted bow is by far the best option.

So a tbow with max range gear would be #1

You should use elite range void since it's higher DPS than blessed d'hide.
