I like to manipulate drum loops all the time. I like to filter out the highs and lows and make the drum loops a background rhythm, I'll pitch up or down depending on the beat. I put reverb and a chorus effect really blends it together well for me. I use it mainly for a background rhythm, and add my own drums on top
Curtis if you record “On Play” in Edison it’ll leave a starter marker and it makes it easier to loop samples correctly. This may not help you much cause you have an understanding of it, but it may help anyone newer people. It helped me a lot.
Ahh glad you invited me to share fam. I've been asking if I could help you and y'all out with tips 😁 If you have a MIDI Pattern in the the playlist you want to send to Edison, select the part you wanna play and before you play, hit F9, then SHIFT + E (ya welcomezzz). Of course I know people gonna say "But why do all of that man? that's STILL just too much work like ughhhhh 😫😫 fudge" Go to Panel Picker, right click on the MIDI pattern you want to render, go down to quick render as audio clip then, look to your left at the panel picker, and dere it izz!!! Drag audio file back into the playlist where you please and trim as you like!!!😌 I shall retire now hahaha Great video fam!!! Nas learning from one of the greatest 😊
Fl studio 20 got It's own function for this now fam. Click the dropdown menu on the pattern and you have lots of options like. "Render and Replace" Replace all of those patterns with the rendered piece! Great to increase workflow. Maby I'll make a video about it! Great idea 😎
Yo Curtis, For us producers that might be lacking on money momentum?? Not Me, but give us viewers a price perspective on the plug ins please. LOVE YOU MAN, gODLY LOVE...Thank You.. The plug in viewed starts at $99 , a fair deal. Keep Popping Mr King>.
I need a Curtiss King - Logic series 🤦🏽♂️ I’m just out here lost. But I’ll find plugins similar to the FL stock. 🧠 Logic gang and 🍓 FL gang need to link! No more DAW on DAW violence lol.
Hi Curtis, another great video. I just wanted to ask you, how do you EQ Drum loops that has snares in there? Like how do you EQ the bass separate from the snares?
Definitely favorited - that dry mute was beautiful and I gotta incorporate that. During the dry mute, there is a "sliding down" sort of effect that takes place. Is that effect created from the dry mute itself, or is that another plug-in or instrument coming in during the mute to do that? (idk something like Grossbeats or something).
I really wanna ask. I have these pads I got from evenant website.. Recently it was getting flagged bc I was putting it in as wave in my FL. If I play it as a midi? Will it still be flagged on RU-vid? Pls answer
