My thoughts on this: I believe there is a season for singleness and that could be why you're single. It doesn't matter how nice you look or how many dates you go on, you will not meet the one. Stop focusing on why you're single and focus on your relationship with Christ ❤️.

I believe when your single to enjoy your salvation with Christ & Let God clean you inside before having a spouse. People are so quick to tell single Christians you must be doing something wrong but in fact were not. The prize isn't marriage it's christ. This is a good video! I love the fact you guys said there's nothing wrong with us singles. Being single in 2019 difienlty isn't easy but know! God still has a plan & purpose! It doesn't matter your age God knows & remember no matter your status or testimony you can be used by God!

I've been single since I was 16, now I'm 22, I completely agree with point number 3, ALWAYS partner with God, when I thought I was ready to date, God had another thing in mind, I wasnt ready to venture into the dating and marriage scene. Had some bondage and some lessons I definently had to go through. I had to see what true covenant wasnt and now I know what True real covenant is. And now I'm coming into the season where God is ready to bring that special someone into my life. My wife is a promise for me and the way she correlates to my testimony. Our marriages will be a testimony and a ministry. (As all marriages should be) But I believe waiting for Gods yes is always a must. I wasnt ready for the dating scene or even marriage waiting 6 years and going through the trials and liberation I needed really helped, now I'm in the place where God has confirmed I'm ready and prepared to be a husband to a lovely lady, it's just about finding her ;)

It’s something I’m being treated for, and the intensity can be pretty unpredictable these days, so needless to say, I know I’m not ready for a relationship😂. Just wanted to share that in case anyone else is going through the same thing. If you’re ever afraid that you’re never going to “arrive” or that no one will ever love you because of what you’ve been through/are going through, think again. You’re not alone. Thoughts like that hit me everyday, but the important thing is whether or not I choose to believe them. It’s hard to be patient through a season like this, but we have to trust that God is working, even when we can’t see it happening in front of us. This is a real disease, so don’t let anyone make you feel less for experiencing it.❤️

This can include soooo many experiences and changes as God restores and builds us. #4 is very true: it can be a learning curve for people desiring to live pure lives in our culture, can be very difficult to learn the self confidence to flirt with joy and freedom. My best advice for people is just do life.....keep chasing after God and things will line up. Don't over think things. God puts people in your life at the right time and for a reason :). Good tips/advice though guys.

I like the advice, but do you guys think that a Christian should wait on God to bring a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse to you or is it okay to go and look for one yourself? Honestly, though, I don't really know any girls that could fit the bill of a Christian girl I am interested in, right now.

I'd love to hear you explain if it's okay for a girl to pursue a guy AND what exactly pursuing looks like. Recently, I've come across so many women at my church who are firm believers that it's the guys responsibility to pursue the woman (and I agree), but does flirting and/or showing interest fall in the category of pursuit? Most my female friends say it is, so they would NOT show interest until AFTER the guy engages them first. I feel flirting and/or showing interest is NOT part of the pursuit because I feel flirting is very much passive while pursing is non--passive and very intentional. Just saying some guys need a slight push and a little flirting may be the push they need.

The last one really resonated with me and I think I needed to hear. I recently felt God telling me to Be Brave when I consulted him about a current crush I have, and I have always been so afraid of people thinking me flirty or them realizing I like a guy and them start to tease me about it - but it's just like you say! Dont worry about what people think! Especially if that fear is keeping you from possibly being with the person God has intended you to be with.

Yes, harsh title. It is absolutely 100% acceptable to be single. There is way too much pressure in the church to get married. While we are at it, there is no "right" person or "The One" or "the right time". Take a step back and realize you are a young married couple giving out advice to other [young], but single people. It just doesn't add up. Perhaps you could better serve by shifting your focus to an audience of other young married couples, rather than emphasizing and speaking to singles.

I kept expecting a bridge such as christians make sure your hygeine is on point to attract a spouse.....

Why am I still single? It's because I want to be. I prefer solitude and being by myself. I like laying on my bed all to myself. I am free to live as I choose without the distraction of a relationship. The Apostle Paul affirms this choice in 1 Corinthians 7. My season is for the rest of my life!

To say I 100% agree with this video. I'm in my 30s and still single but when I look back my only regret is that I listen to my parents. The sad thing is they taught me that women should be seen and not heard and that I should sit around waiting for God to bring a man to my doorstep. All you young girls out there it's good to be patient and wait on God but the video is true because if I had to do over again I would have really put myself out there and got out and met people more. And I wouldn't have been afraid to show interest in men. I was always taught that it was wrong to come across this flirtatious or interested in someone but coming across cold and disinterested can also cause guys to think that you don't want to date when the opposite is really true

I’m single because I’ve never been any females type. I had two “girlfriends “ in my life. But they either went out with me out of pity or to use me. I was 24 then, now I’m 51. I’ve never been married. I have no family or kids of my own. I keep asking God to take away this desire to be married. I don’t want it anymore.

Can you talk about ‘putting yourself out there’. Often people say this but never have any suggestions on HOW TO ACTUALLY put yourself out there.

tbh...i am looking for a relationship and there is even a guy who. i think is interested in me atm but i am not completely sure like what if he's dating someone that i don't know about...even though he's been showing me signs at church i've pretended not to know...with the fear that i may be wrong ~ sorry if that was a little silly hahahaaaaaa (i've been praying about this for a while though and giving it to God because he is a really Godly man and i like that about guys lol)

Everyone has a period of their lives where they will be single. The difference is that its pretty much a given that as children we are single by mandate until we reach near adulthood. Its after that phase that it varies differently for each of us. I don't think the single phase was meant to last into our 30's for many biological and social reasons.

One of my problems is I don't look like a stud like Paul there 😅 plus I'm an introvert which doesn't help either.

Most of these only apply to someone in their 20's, as a 37 year old single, it's almost impossible to "get out there" unless it's the bar scene. Not going to meet quality christian women there. I'm past the young adult age, those groups are so far removed in age from my own that I don't belong. Most everyone in the church my age is already married. The dating sites seem to be of no value unless you're physically attractive, even the christian dating sites are like this. Where does one in my circumstance go?

I humbly disagree with the last point about being flirty with guys. I do agree that being shut in a closet and away from people, not being social is not ok, but I do not agree that a girl has to be flirty to get attention. A Girl can be funny and kind to all her friends without being flirty and still have someone fall in love with her head over heels. Flirting is something that a lady of God is not to do because she is not the initiator in relationships, the man is. Yes she can be smiling and just kind like she is to everyone else, but when she has to try to get someones attention with her eyes, body, or demeanor I think it is already lowering her worth. A lady that knows her worth will keep dignity with grace and humility. Also the way you act is exactly who you attract, if you want a flirty guy that is trying his luck with 10 other girls flirting and throwing fishing lines, then yeah flirt away no problem. But if you want an intentional man that is careful about his choice in his future wife, then do not flirt around, that is a turn-off to Godly intentional men. Honesty just "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on to your understanding", out brain might be scaring us that we should be going out there and flirting and searching and just aimlessly searching, just live your life purposely, grow your relationship with Christ, serve him and people around, and Trust me he WILL take care of you and provide when the time is right. I might be old fashion, but I desire an old fashion relationship. where the man courts the lady intentionally

i was nice guy ... at points hard .. gotta like you any way to date them . most chase taken women or people who don't like them . foot in the door for the future .. meet people an have fun . having fun trumps the game . decent person you should have options .. trick is events , tourism , animals . things can do for fun no date needed ... people have memories and warm feelings natural then people fall in love. usually people scare away people they like and attract people they just want as friends. usually friends are people you would date if things end bad . foot is in the door for trust .. hang with friends of opposite sex for guys then other females trust you rate away and see how you act together . be careful if you have great relationship and other women see it they get jealous of having fun and see she likes ya .. you might get attacked ... people want what they can't have .. they assume must be something good about you .. many bad people use that top get women . always trade up for hotter hotter . not right but human nature . why bible teaches to be good so don't hang your self and get used ... avoiding manipulations most the time or lost people. stay healthy and have fun kids. most people don't really match any way or taken all ready but react yo u instead even though they date ya . million no's then get one yes .. learn flirt skills so can tell if people like you .. read them .. like bible know your self know others . things work out .. dating the dangerous game in life you can play . russian roulette it can be , why teach you to be carefull and be good till marriage .. life a gamble .. youth can run out but if healthy eat once day live be heathy die robust into 80 to 100's .

I agree with all this my problem is im super shy and quiet person( introvert ) and i just struggle to comunicate with girls i just freeze up and cant get my words out and i keep hearing each week the pastor saying in his message or on yutube or even out of the blue a friend or random person at church will say you need to just do it step out so what if you get rejected by girls i agree that this is God talk to me and i want to talk to this girl at church i like but i need to get over my fear and shyness any help here.
