Hello Peter my name is Joseph I've been watching your channel for a lot of years almost since the start and your channel is amazing don't change a thing keep doing what you doing take care and be safe God bless
Morning Pete. Just listened to these 4 stories while eating my porridge!! Very entertaining indeed and I like a good half hour!! Great you are still keen to continue as stories are what started your still growing channel - now 53K subscribers!! Cheers 🍻
I enjoy both sometimes watching you tell the stories, so background good to listening to your stories when I'm doing something else so the half hour mark suits me well. Good stories this week, must be hard going from army to Thialand back to army again
Great video Peter! You are very much right in saying it is much better going to Thailand alone than with mates. You are never alone in Thailand unless you want to be....😊
Hi Peter! I love that you read multiple stories, one after the other to us. I hope you keep it that way, .reading just one would not be enough. Thank you : ) Your female fan from Canada 🥰
"I didn't want to be unfaithful to my girlfriend" but I was sitting in a go-go bar on the very first day, those type of statements always make me laugh. Then he describes every stereotype of Thailand but claims not to know anything.
Hey Peter as some else already said laughed at the story "I liked pingpong so I thought I'd have a look". Here's a thought with your new moving backgrounds. Maybe you could put the name of the area in the corner. Like todays video of Khaosan road. Would like to like one of Soi rambuttri - although it is much shorter. Story #4 was good - wish things like this would happen more often.
Great selection of stories as always Peter. By the way, I'm a fan of your new walking around background, I hope you'll stick to it going forwards. Cheers, Ben.
Thais are beautiful peaceful people, very welcoming, until you cross them. Then they can become hot tempered emotional people who are happy to wreck everything you have as logic has departed. But it'll be your fault of course.
Nice first story. Yes Yes Yes Going out alone is so much more fun . I would never do the wing man or buddy thing . Peter your right , you are actually never alone in Thailand unless you choose it.
Loved the stories and thanks Pete! The naïve guy going the ping pong show sounded a bit, well too naive. And Pete, we are coming over in March, where is a good place to stay near Sukhumvit please?
Peter, great video as always, thank you. I also liked your rooftop bar video. Please review the Banyan Tree rooftop bar: Vertigo, it's something like the 65th floor. I'm sure you would like it. No, I don't work there : )
#2 Wrong buddy. Having a travel buddy with similar interests is the best thing imaginable to stop guys getting into trouble. Being alone can make you a bit of a mark. 4 eyes better than 2.
I am only repeating what countless others have told me when sending in stories So I'm not actually wrong, as I'm quoting others, but from my own point of views, I agree with them and not with you. With regards to traveling alone
@@ThailandBound No, I didn't mean you were wrong. I meant guy in story #2 went with the wrong buddy. I can see how that can be read 2 ways, my apologies.
All good stories but my favorite was the Scottish guys story - i think many of us have found ourselves in his situation 😅 Ps. I think the moving background is fine (usually listen while walking or running!).
Few years ago I was in Phuket. It was November, but it was raining every day, sometimes for prolonged periods. One rainy day I went for massage. After massage she asked if I want some extras. I says sure, what you offer and how much? She said boom boom 2000 baht, I said look it's raining outside all day, It's 3 pm and hardly any people on the street, not to mention any customers inside shop. I said all I can give you 800 baht. After some bargaining we settled on 1200 baht. After deed was done she asked me jokingly do I want some tips? I said, yeah sure give me 200 baht LOL 🤣 What I noticed from my experience if you missing front tooth they will never ask you extra money or try to scam you in any way 🤣
I prefer the calm background you had before even though I do like watching the walks it’s just a bit distracting. Maybe the walks could be presented on their own?
I enjoy your stories Peter. Please keep them at 30 mins. I listened to a couple of copy cat sites but the quality of the stories are not as good as yours.
@ThailandBound 🤣😂 In the one story, he describes the women at the ping pong. Show sitting on the stage and whistling from god knows where. 🤣 When I was in pattaya I was approached about ping pong show but I did not go.
Pete, you are so correct about many things in Thailand. First is not all girls are swindlers. Amongst the bar girls some are above 50% decent. They are in that job because they come ftom a poor family possibly from Isaan area. Second: I did my trip to BKK and onto Patraya in July 2023. This trip should have been before COVID. I was at that time 77 (still am as I write this). In Pattaya my age with white hair didn't seem to put off many bar girls. Of course they wanted you know what. Present yourself as clean and respectable even if you have hit your use by date. Be civil and courteous to all. Treat them well the way you want to be treated. Age is just numbers is what girls will tell you. "ATM" on legs.
You mentioned Khao San Road was a famous backpacker area in the 60s and 70s. Rubbish!!! It started out in the 80s as backpackers gradually started staying there causing more guesthouses to open up.
