Ya she might die from a heart attack they did that to my grandmother her youngest son passed and the doctors didn't want her to know because she might break down in the hospital and get worse when she was getting somewhat better

Well if the mother is in the hospital, that would affect so much her health, or her recovery process. This happend to me as well. My whole family was in an accident many years ago. My father died 3 days after the accident but I found out only on my last day of being in the hospital, which was 3-4 months later. They did kinda prepared me for the worst during that time, so when I found out it was less of a shock to me.

They didn't tell the mother because they were worried she couldnt handle the news. They still had to have a funeral for the little girl weather the mom was there or not

The mother's legs were severed in the attack and she probably lost a lot of blood. She would be in no condition to attend the funeral, or even leave the hospital for a long time.
